Black plugs mean to much gas, which may go w/ your running rough. Throw some new plugs in see if it runs okay. Then try and figure out why it is running rich.

What's the rock for under the front Wheel? Why isn't it painted red! Rest of the car is beautiful! ... and don't forget to paint under the wheel wells black. The overspray looks a little funky.

Why does a Intake manifold have equal length runs straight to a can verses flowing smooth like a header does into one or two exit pipes? Wouldn't it make sense to have the same nice flow the header does?

Correct, I will vent (Small Air Cleaner) the PCV, meaning not having it suck back into the intake.

Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about but if I vent the PCV valve why would it run through the intake?

This is a Sunday driver. I'm only allowed 5000 miles per my insurance. It is a third car. So in my mind, grind it off! I'm curious how carbon builds when no gas is near the TB? Just air. Is this due to gases flowing back from the injectors? Doesn't make sense to me.

So who makes a proven, reliable intake at a resonable price?

I've got a 91 TB. I can go back to the junkyard very easy and get the cable. Any mods on the Pedal side of the throttle cable needed?

You mean to tell that a mechanical device that opens and closes w/ sensore needs to be warmed? Sounds a little strange, but then again, i've always lived in the warm.

So the only reason for the spacer is to hook the stock linkage back up? If you use the 240sx cable then you don't need the spacer?

I know this is the more desired intake because of the lack of EGR. But if you find a 76, can’t you cut it off weld a block plate to where it was? Does the 75 flow that much better than the others? Is this because of the disruption caused by the EGR to the air flow? Are the runner’s bigger inside? Do the turbo intakes have larger inside runner's? What is wrong w/having webbing in the later models? This was put here to keep heat down correct? I would think this would be a huge advantage over the open webbing? Even w/ the heat sheild. Just trying to figure out the real significance. I don't want to jump of the bridge just because everyone else is.

Not sure yet. I haven't seen it. It has only 79K original miles. Probably going MS so the electronics makes little to no difference. Block and head wise they are the same for the years? Is the NACA turbo Bad?

I would think if this person knows about cars how important it is you run them on a regular basis? Something sounds strange, unless money isn't a factor.

1. New Battery 2. Change oil 3. Squirt some oil in down the plug holes 4. Remove valve cover and Pour oil all over the Valves, cam, etc. 5. Hand turn the motor to make sure nothing else is seized 6. Rebuild the Carbs, change fuel filter 7. Remove old gas (possible rust in tank) May need to drop and seal tank 8. Turbo may need to be checked, make sure you lub it w/oil and the oil runs through 9. Change fuel hoses, radiator hoses, belts, spark plugs, drain radiator fluid and flush 10. Check clutch slave valve and make sure it is working and change fluid 11. Drain Trans and rear end fluid, grease any fittings 12. Check brakes make sure their not froze or rusted over rotors and drums 13. Change brake fluid 14. Have fun!
