Thanks Tony, I will have stock turbo ecu and wiring but Ill be going to 12 psi. So do you think I will need to add fuel for the extra 2 psi? Thanks

Usually if the car will bounce several times your due for a new set. My parts car (both cars actually) when I stand on the bumper and jump it seems like the wheels are about to come off the ground. (not actually) Hey Marc how long did it take you to change out your struts? Im hopefully going to put on new springs and struts and am wondering how much work it is. I guess Ill find out when I tear into.

So do I pull the stock regulator off my fuel rail and use it wil my aluminum rail? And the rrfpr, Id look for a 1:1 unit that would install along with the original fuel pressure regulator? Thanks

Well I was at a local parking lot car show. Alot of rat rods, muscle cars, hot rods, etc. Then I see it, a 73 240z! I waited till the owners came out of the Steer Inn and asked about the car, told him I had a 78... Pops the hood and it has a AZC 4 bbl intake and a nice chromed header. Reaches in the window to start it, (mean while I look at the shifter and notice its not in the center, looks to the left and forward, and the e brake isnt on... Didnt say anything. Once it starts it takes off headed for the row of very very nice show cars. The owner, his wife and an older friend of mine are all reaching in the drivers side trying to turn the wheel (down the open isle rather than into the cars) or turn off the car. Meannnwhile I run around the other side and pull it out of first and pull the ebrake. The man left promptly and jokingly said "ive embarrased myself now, see you in a few weeks" I could imagine the damage that would have been done, there were some NICE cars there.

Well Ive seen some shows (everything on tv you see is real ) and the lt1's are tuned with a piggy back ecu. (available for most cars) They also mentioned different bolt on performance parts, intakes and exhausts. And if anyone has ridden in a stock crown vic they move!!!

Yeah they wouldnt need to go to high RPM, as you say most make power way below. As for the floating problems Ive talked to alot of V8 hot rodders and others that say the hyd. lifters float. Its hard to say if its heresay because Ive heard it sooo much. Thats why I included "from what I know". Its hard to pass on anything that Ive read about/researched/heard because it might be wrong.

Honestly 260hp (little high for 11psi) isnt enought to outrun the souped up lt1s in the cop cars.

Hey, Im working on some planning for my turbo motor, right now I have a aluminum fuel rail for the stock injectors on its way. Il be running 12psi of boost on a mostly stock turbo motor and over the last week or so have been doing research regarding the fuel system and getting more fuel on boost. My question is do I use the stock regulator off of the stock fuel rail? Or will the 1:1 fpr replace it. *** From what Ive read the fpr that will give me extra fuel on boost is added in addition to the regulator. I feel overwelmed with all the info Ive been reading about regarding fuel pressures, fmu's, afpr, fpr, etc. and all of these being used together. If I need to include any addition info just ask. *** maybe not the correct term but the regulator that will give me 1 extra psi of fuel pressure for every psi of addition boost. Still researching it. Edit- Thought Id include a little info on the motor, f54/p90, stock turbo cam, intercooled, stock tubo afm, ecu, harness, n42 intake, stock injectors, aluminum fuel rail, DSM BOV, external wastegate/proper downpipe.

V6 sonatas will do 147 flat out. The car was going down like a 9% grade so it gave him the extra umf.

No good... I remember reading in C&D a guy got caught on camera doing 150mph in a Hyundai Sonata. Probably got the same amount of jail time and a huge fine!

Are the flares metal or FG? Id say some might not want to mess with it if theres fg and metal mixed. But who knows, probably more luck with an auto body place than a metal fabricator.

No, from what I know the hyd. will begin to float at high rpm. Also they can "deflate" at any time and you cant get new ones.

Car looks good. Ive always wondered what the cuda graphics would look like on the side of a Z... Also are you saying you think your running 300hp @ only 10 psi? Im also kind of skeptical of them being good for 300hp.

But then to make them look good you have to get a bit wider tire and then you face the issue of rubbing because your tires will be sticking an inch or two out from the fender.
