Ok that helped, thanks. So I looked at prices for the cartech and their nearly $300. Is there another brand that I could look at, like the ebay models. But Id still need to look for a 1:1 rising rate fuel pressure regulator.
Well If you look at the DSM bov there is a small ~1/4 hole and then a larger one. The larger one is to be vented back into in front of the turbo and then the smaller one goes to a vacume bung on the manifold, as you can see in the pictures.
Well Ill be leaving in the morning for Nigeria for two weeks, just wanted to let everyone know that if you email me or pm Im not just being rude and not replying. If I had asked about a part or something itll just have to wait till I get back.
Now I need to get in some last minute turbo swap studying to be able to survive the 2 weeks.
Its a cooler. From what I know to cool the injectors. From talking to members with Zx's they hardley notice it coming on and have no problems unplugging it.
Isnt extrude honing expensive, youd end up spending more probably.
The reason they sell it for that much is because people pay that much. Most people that drive skylines have money and like to put the little greddy sticker on their window.
Shouldnt it vent right after the TB closes and there is a increse in pressure in front of the Tb? If there was vacume it wouldnt really vent air out rather in...
Is it worse on the stock afm? I dont want my car to almost die in the middle of autox everytime I lift the throttle.
Also how do you determine what psi the bov will vent at? How do you determine how much to crush it?
I dont think the weight matters as much as where the weight is. Like you said the 11 lbs ones didnt work better than the 15 lbs one. Is that because the weight was removed from the outside?
How much of the 1/4 panel do you need? I only replaced the rockers and the area diectly behind the rear wheel, nothing more than 8 inches above the bottom of the car.
As for the area behind the wheel I just got some sheetmetal and went to town.
They dont make them. I searched for several years and ended up just using a combination of coupe rockers and doglegs.
Sadly I found a 2+2 parts car that is rust free, would have been alot better car to start with. Id sell the panels since their so nice but shipping would be spendy.
