    Wasnt trying to be a smart ass, but wasnt sure what he meant by it. Is diesel coming out of the carbs, or is it an actual word for something else I dont know about? Is it sound like a diesel??? I could have determined the meaning if the sentence made sense.

    Um my 78 does have the pillars that are removeable... my 74's are built into the window.

    Does yours register at around 12 when off? Mine was just over 12 just sitting there so I unplugged the battery, not sure if it was doing harm.

    Looks like it with the surge tank, and 3 carb looking parts coming off of it.

    Sand, prime, hammered black. Misted it on so it looks like a rough powdercoat.

    Would there be any benefit in having the AFM really close to the turbo? Leaving room for a connection to reroute air from the BOV to.

    Like Jeff said, it isnt directed at him, just in general. It was more of a joke than anything. The point was that searching isnt hard, neither is sifting through threads.

    Thats what I read so Ill try that. I was just outside and with the key out it is at a little past 12v. Is that normal? Im actually kind of happy having a mechanical issue for a change!

    I did some searching and found that it wasnt good obviously and that it can have some bad affects on the battery. Ill have to wait till I get all my lights in to test for brightness or if they get blown out. Is there anything I can check that might show where the culprit is? Thanks, btw car is a stock 78 l28.

    Whats the FMU? Fuel management unit?? Does this replace the need for the turbo ecu which would have increased the fuel?

    Wow!!! Sweet. That is the nicest looking manifold Ive ever seen. :) I actually had a friend that made a turbo header for his si hatchback, looked TERRIBLE but worked great and thats what mattered.

    What about this with black stripes? (along with black trim, wheels, and dark tint) As I get on more black trim it looks better and better. Cant wait to get wheels and tint.

    Chartoo it probably isnt large enough but I thought Id post anyways. I tried to get another picture with all the trim on but the camera died.
