What did you do to the trim? As I assemble mine more and more Im thinking the chrome wont look as good as I thought with the rest of the car grey and black. Im thinking Ill need to go black powdercoat or something. Also Im pretty sure our colors are very very similar. Good to see a finished 2+2 with a similar color.

The door to the glove box doesnt fit but I had planned to just put a flat piece of plastic over it with gauges and such, both the trip and dim turn switches wont work unless you pull the knobs off. (atleast the dim one went on, the trip reset knob wont go on)

Just bring a putty knife or thin sharp tool. Depending on the brittleness of the rubber go around and pull out the metal trim. From there just slide the tool/putty knife around the outside edge and cut off the top of the seal. Then you just need to push it out (down).

Went a different route. I think this looks better. I used a extra piece of fg I had, some electrical tape and a few switches to see what it would look like. Finished version would be blended in with.. (epoxy?) then repainted.

Oh yeah, just put a roll bar on it and some fenders, good to go!!! Also how is it held together? Just looks like the driveshaft and exhaust. -

Got my dash cap on today. Went pretty well, had to make one small incision on one of the side vents to get it to fit properly but other than that it went well. One thing that I might have to do in the next day or so is repaint the sides that arent covered by the cap. I sprayed them with a black paint for plastics but It isnt quite the same shade. Ill have to get pictures once I pull off all the duct tape.

If you need one I have an e30 cam out of a n42 I was going to use on my solid lifter conversion. Plans change (perf. cam) and I wont be using it. Ill sell it cheap. PM me. Also If I was to use this cam what do you have to do to it? I was going to have the rockers resurfaced, can you do the same to the cam. Just so you have a smooth surface on both.

As I believe has been stated, Id like to have seen the doors widened a bit also. Would help with the flow of the rear end. Im thinking of doing this on my parts car, see what it looks like.

One of the definitions for turn is to reverse the position or placement of. Your reversing the placement/position of the light from on to off.

Sweet, I have all the dash apart and will print off a few sets to see what fits then maybe get them printed on some nice paper that wont fade at kinkos. (laminated?, photo paper?)
