  1. Heres a few pictures of it 99% complete. Still need to put on side carpet holder things that bolt to the rocker panel and make a few touch ups. came out alot better than I thought it would. Also makes the car look alot nicer. Its nice being able to sit on soft carpet... Also found some rear floor mats from my 260.
  2. I was in your spot for a while, had all these plans but no parts.
  3. Got some of my parts today and within the last few days. Stock rebuilt turbo, N42 intake, 60mm tb, Dsm bov, cam for mechanical lifter swap on p90a, intake/afm tube, and valve cover. Still waiting on a downpipe and the mechanical lifters... Parts wise still need to get intercooler and piping, fuel rail, afpr, and a few other things.
  4. Looks ricey but a good start.
  5. Well I had bought a set of gaskets for my n47 build which didnt get anywhere and I have the headgasket and intake/exhaust manifold. Is there anyway to use these on my p90/f54 turbo build? Ill be running around 12 psi with intercooler. And can I just use the stock round port gasket and cut it to fit the square ports. I dont want to make this ghetto but dont want to waste brand new gaskets. Thanks
  6. Got in the rear seat parts, went in pretty good, I was surprised how much better they fit with a little glue. Its hard to believe they fit just laying them in there. Going to try and get the rest in tommorrow.
  7. Honestly, several ounces REALLLY wont make a difference.
  8. Yeah getting intakes at jy is cheap, here $12, I got my first n42 for $60 shipped (shaved and got $130) and my second for the same and picked it up locally.
  9. S and H with a earch in the middle would be searchh. As for his question go with the L28et, alot simpler and cheaper for someone without alot of experience and you wont have a 4 banger.
  10. Just wait a week or two Im SURE there will be another stock car in your area.
  11. Yeah ground brakes, not in the air, "hey we better stop for a sec, hit the brakes". which was what my fellow cadet thought..
  12. So the intercooler should be worth about the same as the ssa stuff?
  13. I find my dad's Garmin Colorado very accurate and adjusts quickly. It reads out speeds just like a speedometer would in a car. I just have to be sure to delete the top speed recording anytime I use it. Is that when you step on the brakes in the airplane? I got to fly a few times when I was in Civil Air Patrol and as another cadet was getting ready to fly he asked, "wheres the brakes?" I really wanted to get out...
  14. Looks sweet lason but Id be skeptical about dirt/rocks.
  15. http://spokane.craigslist.org/pts/715077061.html Anyone know what kit this is? I imagine its off ebay and the only thing I can read from the pictures us "JDM" which is on the title of nearly every turbo kit on ebay. Im looking at getting the intercooler hopefully and want to know if its any good and whats a good price to offer. Thanks, and I will be going to look at this tomorrow.
  16. Oops I meant to say valve cover. I had been thinking about manifolds for the last week.
  17. Looks great! What kind of powdercoat is on you manifold?
  18. Yeah I think Im going to try what you did on my p91. Instead of cutting it flat like the blue manifold I tried to smooth it out and now it would be hard to block it off with a piece of aluminum as I did above.
