  1. I have never installed it. I just assume that if you are gonna take the plunge to efi, might as well use the one thats gonna let u tune it the way u want it. even if that means more work.

    Im working on fixing it

  2. I think I have the basic idea of how it works, and what i have to get. The only part that im confused about is the crank wheel. what has to be done to the stock crankwheel on a 73 240 w/ ac? Will i still be able to use my ac? or do i have to eliminate it. Also, what does the EDIS moduel(sp) look like? i know what the coil pack looks like, but not the EDIS mod.

i also forgot to ask, would i be able to cut a 36-1 wheel out of some thick sheet metal and mount it to the front of the crank pulley? In the shop at my school, we have a plasma cam. Its some computer controled plasma cutter, coudl i cut one out w/ this? If so, what r the dimensions of it? and woudl i be able to weld it(bolt if i have to) to the front of the crank?

  3. my neighbot has a Pantera (very nice car for free) and it has a coil pack in it, his buddy has a old chevy w/ MSD dizzy and control box. i was wondering if there was any way to get a coil pack, or even a msd system for the z? i have a 73 240 and have looked on MSD for both, am i missing it? i cnt find it. on the forms i saw a coil pack but it didnt look like it was for the z.

  4. i have considered efi. too much. i dont like to use used fuel system parts. so id be looking at new intake, reg, pump, injectors, MS, fuel rail, ect. it would add up really fast. and ontop of that, efi turbo setups r common. i want my car to stand out. this is the same reasoning behind me staying with the l6 instead of swapping a v8 in there. i no its probelmatic, but IMO it will be worth it.
