Wow. this got alot of responses. i think im gonna try to find a sc at PnP and make a manifold for it. then on top of it... put 2 2bbl carbs or 1 4bbl carb on there sticking thru the hood. the old style rod looking scoop maybe.

and found a OLD shop manule, and the original owners manuel. both in prty good shape.

yea, i hated that law when i still drove my honda. Im looking at doing a sbc swap and running strait pipes. i know i will get many tickets. haha. o well

i think you only have to go to a ref if u dont pass the visual at the sherifs station.

Thats why i didnt take it to court. i just got the ticket signed off the next day. they looked under the hood and dash. he siad he was looking for an ecu or where one WAS mounted. he noted on his clipboard that there was excessive dirt of the motor mounts. he said since it coundnt have built up in the past 72 hours i was good. signed the ticket off.

I woudl have told him to point to the turbo. i woudl rather get a BS ticket than one for exhibition of speed. i just got back from the sherrifs station. He giggled when he saw the ticket. he told me that i should look into getting my "broken" egr valve fixed( i have it unhooked and told him it was broken when he asked why it was unhooked) no need to go to a ref. since the ticket was incorect it is VOID!!!!!!! <3 stupid cops

So there was some ice on the driveway of my local 711. my tires spun as i left and a cop saw. he pulls me over and tells me to pop my hood. so i did. he gives me a ticket for having a sr20det. i wanted to laff in his face because a L24 is impossible to msitake for a sr20. i cant wait to go to court for this

Nice. i woudl assume the block is level and the pan is slanted to feed the oil to a certain point. just an assumption tho

Thanks! that is exactly what im looking for. So the stud w/ the lug on it hold the adapter plate on and go into a recese(sp) on the back of the wheel? thats what i gathered from the website(correct if wrong)

Its not the bolt pattern. I have weld wheels and the lug is the kind that goes through the wheel and the wheel rides on it. I really want to have a single lug, kinda like what F1 cars have.

Ron, you are a lifesaver. I have access to a computer controlled plasma cutter. I think i will try to make a CAD file for it and cut it 1st chance i get. What thickness should the flange be?

I was wondering if there is any kind of a Single lug conversion for the zcars. i know that there were Datuns back in the 80s that had 1 lug. I am interested in this simply for the WOW factor and because i hate the Ford style lugs that my wheels have

The cleanest pic I have is with the engine out. This thing sits just below the coil. That bottom nipple goes to the small nipple Y'd off the crankcase vent. The top one went I believe to the back of the stock air cleaner. But since I switched to the dual webers some 15 years ago that is coming from memory.

Is there a sc off of a different car(inline6 bmw for example) that would bolt up to a L6. Hood clearance doesnt matter. i actualy dont want the hood to clear. I want to have the old school look of a carb sticking out the hood.
