  2. Ok here is the deal i have L24 with a 83zx 5speed tranny. i just installed the a new 83zx clutch. Here is the problem when i have the car on and stop I try to shift into reverse and gear grind and it gets hard to shift I have clutch pedal press. Problem 2 when i have it in 1 or 2 gear just crusing no accelaration or with clutch not press It feels like the throwout bearing is grinding . I removed the clutch master cylinder and removed the rubber dust cap and saw just a little bit of oil could this be the problem, I have just replaced the slaver cylinder with a 83zx one using the stock 240z clutch master cylinder that came with the car.

  3. I live in the inland empire California just wanted to know if anyone knows a shop were i can take the 240z to get the carbs tuned? Something close willing to drive no more than 40 miles. Does anyone around here know how to tune them.

  4. well yesterday i was leaving my uncles house. Got on the 605 freeway when I saw to cars crash into each other.I was about 2 or 3 car lenghts behind on the left and they were on the right of me. when one of them swerve on to my lane going 65mph i manage to turn to the left hitting the side of my car doing a 180 on to the carpool lane facing oncoming traffic. That was some scarry sh!t..both air bags deploid.

So could this be repair by the insurance or are they going to call it a total loss. I don't want to be driving a car that has a bent body.

  5. Well going back to big bear this weekend for the 7th time and this is going to be my 3rd lesson 1hour private. I have the basic stuff down heel, toe edging and liking turns. I been all over the mountain except for the expert trails. I want to start doing some jumps just the small ones and carving. Just wanted to know how to ollie on the jumps and how to carve. So I can have and idea on how to do it. Also i have been thinking of buying a helmet at more than $100 i want to get something thats is not to big and is light with audio ear plugs since i like listening to music while on the trails to pump me up.

  6. Well today I decided to get my laizy ass up and work on the 240z. So I decided to install the aluminum hubs i got from ross. Since the ARP bolts that came with the hubs were to long for the lugs i had, I had to buy shorter bolts. I decide to stay stock front brake system for now i started drilling the stock 240z rotor because the hubs are 5 bolts and the stock are 4 and It work perfectly.
