ya it was pretty bad .. i could here it and feel it if i put my hand down there .. all better now :burnout:now i got to fix the one under the car its a small one about half way back ..iam going to cut out the faultly section where i installed this stupied test pipe and weld in a new peace ...

exhaust leak on #one piston is now fixed ..i got the bolt out of there jbwelded a stud in and let it sit over night .locked a nut on to there this moring and reinstalled my dissy do right ..and now no leak much better pull in the low end , cleaner smelling and doesnt sound like a truck .

there isnt to much in the way of hs130 glass body parts more of just the s130 parts . i want a hood but can find one any where .

its funny a friend of mine just got a 88 n/a red on red ttop 300zx . for $800.00 bucks motor doent sound all that good but the body is clean no dents and the paint is top notch ..he is going to swap motors just staying with the n/a setup .. my other freinds dAD is into zcarts aswell ..he has three lsd's each one has a differnt geARing setup ..he wont sell he ant having it:evil: i tryed and tryed and tryed in fact everytime i see that kid i sAY something about it to him .....the last time i was like "get me one of your dad's lsd's":icon45: ... he smiled and said "$50 bucks":flamedevi ... i about craped my self ..... he smiled and then said "just kidding":flamedevi ............

just pasted the 500 mile mark sence the swap.everything is looking better and better everyday ...i did some tuning this aftenoon .i had the fpr set a little rich so i turned the wastgate arm down a little .making it open the wastgate at 8psi she pulls better and runs cleaner ..i wont take it any higher with out my intercooler being hooked up so as soon as i find some more pipeing then i will move on up to 10psi but for now 8 is great .everything is staying tip top . iam happy with how it all turned out STILL GOTS lots AND LOTS OF N/A PARTS .... ANYONE NEED ANYTHING pm me . THANKS EVERYONE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK .....

i have things hooked alittle differntly ....but yes what bleach said works great .for 82 and 83 zx's.....however it wouldnt work for my 81 ..this is the part of the swap that is a pain ...on my 81 car they hooked the yellow starter wire differntly then 82 83 ..its SO wack ...so if i turn my key all the way and hold it you here the fuel pump come on but my car wouldnt start ...i had to make a starter switch .the inhibter realy was clicking like a mofo the key runs though that realy then to the starter on 81's.mabe the fuel pumps wires on 80 are differnt..iam unsure you should track the wire with the hayness book .hayness 1980 wireing di are top notch they kind of slacked off on the other years ...... its wierd your cars fuel pump wont come on when the key is held down ? thats one thing i didnt have to change ...DAM car makers why couldnt they have just made them wired all the same .good luck with the swap ..sounds like it shouldnt be to much longer .

yES for sure lsd's arent cheep .i dont want to spend a bunch of money on a used one then have it break.hopefuly i can find one cheep someday but if i was to go all out , that for sure would be the way to do it .

That sucks about the Pulsar ..i had one for like 6 six months a few years back. it was a tight little car ..the guy that owned the car befor me had put a 4 barral holly carb on it ..that little beast was so snapy .. i got the boost dropping thing figured out ..hes hold steadys at whatever psi i put her at ..the lowest clamp on the rubber boot inbetween the jtube and the turbo was falty..i really want you to ride in her bleach ..i need a z owner as a witness ....i cant beleave how fast she is ...i want to get her dynoed gray and i are thinking about trying to get the dyno guy to let us each do two pulls on the dyno for a $100 bucks ......hopfully he will ... last night gray and i went to wash are cars ...after we got done gray left the car wash frist .. i got done started to drive out and was like , ok testing is done did..... time to get some ....gray was mabe a mile and a half out....in full traiffc ... i opened her up full sideways drift in to about 20 cars spaced out just right ...a 5 psi pull though them to 120 mph catching gray just befor he was about to leave the hlwy... she wanted more the whole time .. burly upper end pull , with turbo sirren sound ..i think she would max out the gearing and still be wanting more.....the temp gauge never gets to the F mark ...oil presser is rock soild .volts is the same no change ..fuilds stay soild aswell ...dam i wrote a book again:roll: ok ok time to get something done today ..late

Thats S town park out on the peninsula upper north west . " AT THE END OF THE WORLD" ..i worked with the city to have it built like 6 1/2 years ago . i wish i had that pic but with me 5-0 grinding the rail. my knee ant what it used to be . i have been skateing for 20 years sence 86 .still got nollie 360 flips on lock and i give fools a run for there money in games of poser all day . yes cygnusx1 , i was reading a few of your posts from days back ... they helped me out alot your z is looking very tight aswell . super stoked on it for sure .. your input is much appreciated iam very stoked on the older body style Zcars ... in fact my friend gray is picking up a old z car tomarrow for free ... he is so stoked on my turbo swap he is going to grab this car up tomarrow and then get to moding it ..i will be posting some pics of it as soon as we get it here and again cynusx1 thank u much

no i have the stock wastage actuator. i threaded the end and made it ajustable .so i can clock it down later for more boost .i think i mite have it figured out .the lowest clamp on the jtube was falty .so i replaced it ,also i reajusted the BOV ..iam going to test her as soon as the rain settles. i have a small exhaust leak on #1..i burnt my finger pretty good finding it that frist exhaust stud was striped i fixed it befor all this but locking it down any more mite break the threads .i hoped it would seal up on its own. but i dought it will .its just a small leak on #1 inbetween the gasket and the exhaust manifold . i went out and locked it down a little more.i could still here it and feel it ...."OUCH" right inbetween the gastket and the manifold .no leaking on any of the other spots just there .. if i pull on the gasket "OUCH !!! son of B!@#$ thats hot !" but it goes away .. so i mixed up alittle beed of jbweld ...i layed it right on the edge of gasket and exhaust maniflod . then i folded the gasket up into the bleed ..i let it dry up some then using a mirror and a flat head i stuff the beed soild . i tryed to keep it real clean and it "LOOKS" like it may seal ..but we will see ya it didnt work its still leaking alittle Owell can have it all.. shes still a beast she out ran the Ae in the top end ..she's a turbo pulling beast ..

she runs like a race horse ..... however if i push the pedal down half way it will boost to lets say 5psi . once it hits 5psi the boost will drop a litte mabe to 0psi mabe to 2psi .. is that the ecu just =ing out the presser being that the throttle isnt all the way open ? if i hold the pedaL down to the floor it hits 6 1/2psi and stays there ..how does your Zcar do under boost . is this pretty normal ? i have passed the 125 mile mark ..this motor seems real stong .

Ya super stoked on it ...The bov sounds great ..I can hear it realy good . The turbo spool sound is even better ..Sounds like iam holding a crazy laser gun when i step down on her ....Then when i let off i here shshshsshsh .. Its not a loud shshshsshshsh more of a soft sound with hardness to it .... She is very consistent... I have driven her everywhere .I even went for a drive last night a 3:15am ... On waRM up even during hard driving , she does the same things Every time! Even air fuel stays very consistant ...Realy iam super happy with her .I cant beleave how fast she is .For sure shifting though the gears makes it alot faster ..I think this turbo garrett t3/t4 hybrid realy pushes her well very little to 0 lag if any at all , bam to 6psi if i push it all the way it jumps to 7 like it was already there , with intercooler on and 10psi . two words .GETTING SOME ! i got the saab intercooler that was on the saab 9000 i also got the turbo from that aswell.... i posted pics they are few pages back in this post .but ya super stoked went for a lot of drives watching every gauge they ALL are staying perfict everything in the right zone . for sure on the WB o2 ... it will be a bit befor i move on up the boost chain . 6psi is fast ....i about S#$!when she started breaking free in frist at 4300rpm scary fast takes the na and stomps on it .really i had n0o clue and iam realy blowen away .

BABY STEPS FOR SURE....... its hard though... all i have to do is step down just under half way and its hitting 5psi ,SNAPPING MY NECK BACK , with a sickly cop car sirren sound . i made my wastgate ajustable .so when iam ready for more say 10psi i can screw that arm down and psi will go up ..i wont be doing that for a few weeks .i need to install the intercooler and fine tune everything befor i will try for more ....happy Boosting TO ALL ......

i all have to say is F YA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had BOTH VACUM LEAK AND WASTGATE WAS STUCK OPEN ABOUT A 1/4 INCH .also looks like i got the ecu plugs fixed no cuting out ! i hit 6-7psi , everytime i step it down .....FAST SPOOLING .. she is done did getting some sickass turbo driven Darth Vader Zcar . i will be "putting the HURT " on fools
