  2. just look at the windtunnel data they speak for themselves.
  3. Well if you could please look into it. Maybe snap some pics of all the normal places rust happens. Im serious about tryin to aquire a good shell!!! If you want drop me a PM on an email.
  4. Yea I would if you would ship it! Just got my 2 to the shop both need alot of work. Dose this car have a title?
  5. I've seen my buddys 289 turn 8900 plus by accident twice, on the norm the car gets shifted at 7500. As long as the valve springs are strong enuff and solid lifters are used should work.
  6. standalone!!! Big dia wheels or old school 16" or smaller
  7. So after being hounded by my buddy Jeff to go pick up my Z's, because I told him to. We went tonight at 8PM about 10mi or so from my house/garage, to pick up my 72' that a friend gave me. When we got there to my amazement he failed to tell me that the rear brakes were locked up . So after draggin the car to the trailer with a truck not to mention three of the tires were dry rotted and flat. Used two comealongs to get it up on the trailer (broke one ) and a floor jack. After two or so hours of fighting it, its home! It looks alot worse than the first time I saw it last year. Gonna need alot of metal work on body, the rear quarters and around tail lights looks bad. Ill post pis tommorow maybe if i get time. I still have to get it off the trailer and go pick up the 76', should just have to air up the tires on that one and get it over here. But I hurt, im sore, dirty, tired and smell like the brink of hell time for a shower and a goodnights sleep(1:30AM).
  8. A garage full of tools!! bigger than the one I have now. Fix a free rusted 240Z or find a better donor for 3000?
  9. So whats the chance of finding a flat-plane crankshaft, for an SBC/SBF? That and a custom grind bumpstick and EMS should work. I did a search on Google and read this on Wikipedia "In 1992, Audi left the German DTM racing series after a controversy around the crankshaft design of their V8-powered race cars. After using the road car's cross-plane 90°-crankshaft for several years, they switched to a flat-plane 180° version which they claimed was made by "twisting" a stock part. The scrutineers decided that this would stretch the rules too far." So technically you could make your own out of a Dual plane crank?
  10. Well some of 26lbs is comin out, just went to the doc today. July 17 I go to get two of the 4" screws out of my knee that are causing some inflamation. Im actually happy about it, this should take care of the pain I get when I keep my knee bent.
  11. Am I the only one that is wonderin why she was in her underwear?? Everytime Im in that position im parked!! hahahaha
  12. No I got to stay awake for the whole thing. The lady responsible left the secne. I was going 35-40 when I hit(swear on the life of my mother). I had stopped just before to let some cars into to a lawn party and was just going into 3rd. I spent a year in a chair and had to learn to walk again, still cant run/jump/etc. Some of the guys that have been around for awhile on HybridZ might remember. A Thread where abunch of them donated money to help me out, still to this day I couldnt thank them enough!!
  13. This happend July 13, 2002 and I spent the better part of a year in a wheel chair from it. Got run off the road by a lady in an Ford explorer, and when I got it back on the road I T-boned the end of a concrete bridge. I couldnt have gone stright it droped of into a river. Shatterd both femurs, lower left leg broke in 10 plus places, torn MCL and PCL in my right knee. Three rods and 14 screws later I still deal with it alittle to this day. I gotta go tommorow for a check up and to talk about getting some screws out that are giving me trouble.
  14. I know this thread is old but I finally got up to my dads to download the pics. This is before I really miss this car!!!
  15. There was just a big thread on this look for Remote mount turbo.
  16. Gnosez, Bob had made comment that making the A-piller an 1/2 in wider would help out alot. Making the air flow out past the B and C piller.
  17. What I took from the whole thing is this. Reducing the frontal opening is key to reducing drag. But the major point in making air flow over and under the car. Is to stall the air in front of the car, this is done with the radiator. Any and all air that comes thru the front of the car has go thru a radiator. This stalls the air in front and actually splits the air, before reaching the forward most point of the car. The air going thru the rad. slows down to 10-15 mph, after that it dosent really affect anything. Everytime we talked about getting the air in the engine bay out. Bob Smith told us that it couldnt be avoided, basicly time could be better spent elsewhere on the S30. Hope this helps clear things up a bit.
  18. She's a keeper!! awesome grille for sure!!
  19. I'll even spare two! Id have to say youre a bigger man than I. I dont think I could eat half the stuff you had for that diet.
  20. I have an Altima thats my DD and it dosent smoke on startup. But it will smoke after it idles for awhile once warm. It needs valve seals youre car might need them too.
