  1. Thatd be pretty cool, for a Mitsubishi paint scheme. If the Z were smaller or inside the Sun itd look cleaner. Id say do it!
  2. I alway thought it would be cool, at least by state!
  3. That was awesome! Thanks for posting!
  4. bringin back an old thread arnt ya BBZ. He stated that the cams wernt turning (broken t-belt).
  5. I still think the best time I ever saw someone gawk at a Z was when Mike and I were in NC for the windtunnel testing. The night before we had gone out to eat with Austin Hoke. This kid comes outta no where and just went ape 5h!t, kid had no clue. But it was still cool to see that kind of attention to a Z. Mind you Austin was parked next to Mikes 996 TT and he barely even noticed it.
  6. So did you learn on a fifty Phil? Cause Ive been wanting to learn! Im still workin on slowing my wheelies down, and I ought to get a dedicated bike. But that is pretty cool dude!
  7. I saw it, its a 2+2! "its in mint condition" haha
  8. Typicaly helpin out friends with their cars. I have a 92' eclipse GS turbo drag car project in my garage workin on for a buddy of mine. Hauled a CRX last night for some cash, and going to haul another 92' eclipse shell today. Building engines, doing custom A/V work in cars. Trying to find the time to spend with the ol' lady and the dog. Oh yea and Im in the middle of building a forced air waste oil heater. Among other things!!!
  9. Should be a big snap ring on the back of the housing. Take that off and should give enuff to turn. Just make sure not to get the actuator in a bind.
  10. So me and Britt (the ol' lady) were out the other night, and I saw a chick wearin a belt that was a seat belt. So I mentioned that it looked kinda cool, she replied that she wouldnt wear one unless.... You guessed it, it had to be Z, datsun, nissan related. Yea I love her so I desided to make one. So I pulled the lap belt and buckle out of the 72' parts car. After alittle cleaning, rust removal and sewing. Here it is the 72' Z belt!! I had to put the hook on the side due to the buckle being to big to fit thru belt loops. I might try to nab some pics of belt on the woman tommorow.
  11. Me too with no problem at all, three times to make sure.
  12. Here I am on a recent Deals Gap trip,
  13. Did Glenn paint his croba coupe? if so LOOKIN SWEET MAN!
  14. I thought of this as well after lookin in my garage, Hanging them would be nice because you could keep them up out of the way. Like the area above my workbench, with a 14 ft celing i dont use the space anyway.
  15. I saw on "extreme 4x4" where they said to hang it from the pully bolt. This would also keep it from falling over.
  16. Thats good to hear Jon, still hoping for the best.
  17. I saw these down at bike week. Id rather have one of the gokart powered ones. Still cool tho.
  18. Im starting to wish i built mine bigger like yours. By the way I always wanted to paint my Z like that (red&white one). Heck I just might still do that.
  19. no it was the same link Pro posted Ive looked a little bit and never really found anything on it.
  20. Thanks alot for this Paul, alot of info I didnt know.
  21. Sorry Pro but this is a repost i saw this on another thread.
  22. Yea you can make good money doing it I used to Install back in the day with my father. Just as long as the work is there and dosent drop off. By the way theres alot more money in Internet Sat. than just DirecTV. Alot of the places that deal do both so tell him to ask if they install those as well.
