see if this works... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D%2B320051988093%26fvi%3D1&item=320051988093 -
This one that the right electrical connector on it (like the one in JTR) but it had a separate nut/ fitting that held it down. this will be the correct on to use....the sensor that has the one pin connection and held down by a sepereate nut with 3/8 threads i believe.

another guy here came by my work talking about his z car being all done at a shop with the farari gto everything. this guys says someone deposited 30,000 for his car already and selling for 112,000. i couldnt help but smile and said wow. its just a gto replica with roadster rims. AWSOME!

the main shaft has the same number splines correct? i have it laying around and someone wants to use it for a 68 datsun 4cly pick up and just not sure if itll work. so it should work then right? just need a shorter drive shaft? just didnt want to pull it all out and find it not to fit.

i have a 5 spd from a 280zx i was told and was installed in my 75 280z 6cly fi engine. i was wondering if anyone knows what else datsun models does it fit? i searched but cant seem to find what im looking for. i was wondering if it will work for the 510 dimes and the 68-up 4cly datsun pick ups. dont all datsuns during these years share the same bolt patterns???

where did you get that gm adapter from??? looks different from the mcleod adapter!
-
i too will like to see this on paper. i heard people tap using 1/8. im in the same process..
-
mine right now has valve stems on each ends. i had the same set of epsilons like the ones you have posted but in black. 16x7 and 16x8 rears. sold them and got the dynalites. will be doing the flip asap. i have a post on hybrid z about this subject in the wheels forum...
-
wow...those are awsome...im about to do the same thing to my 3 piece dynalite wheels. i was just worried about the inside lip too small. but thats awsome....
-
wow! thats exactly the color i had in mind for my z also. i just had doubt about it because of heat and swirl marks but now after seeing how sick it looks. for sure i will be painting it black. awsome. keep the pics update please!!!

im not sure what you meant by adding a micro switch. im assuming with this switch, you have to swtich it everytime going into the reverse? where does the wires go to if you guys dont mind me asking? i havent looked into it yet...one goes to ignition on and the other???
-
the wires listed are labeled already!!! i was just wondering if anyone knows if any of these uses a relay like injector wise. and which pcm wire uses a relay since the pcm needs a relay wired in is what i was told. i dont have anything on the harness that needs to connect to the datsun harness for lights etc.... yes i know how to read a wiring diagram...the diagram im reading is from a caprice lt1 manual. the pins on the pcm, i know waht it does from tims delete post a while back listing every pin in each connector. the only wires that leads to the pcm are the 2 orange ignition feed,2 pink ignition feed, vss, brake signal and check engine wire. i know where these goes already. just curiouse if the injectors really takes a relay and which pcm wire does the inline relay go to! everything on the chasis is going to be wired with the stock datsun or stand alone relay like fan wise and fuel pump etc... thers not much left to do as you can see from the wire options i have. im just asking to see if someone else might know and throw in their opinions on hooking the wires up to see if its what i had in mind. thanks..
-
is there anyone else out there that might know how to hook these wires up correctly???
-
so pretty much what it does is, it helps guide the shifter into reverse? ok, ill hook it up anyways. so i wire that to the brake light switch correct? thanks in advance.
-
im doing my harness and was wondering whats neccesary to keep on the t56 connectors? do i really need the reverse lockout? what does it really do anyways, i know about the vss and the back up light connectors, just not sure if it neccesary to keep the reverse lockout. im buying connectors for these and dont want to purchase something i dont really need. i searched and cant find what z t56 guys really keep. thanks in advance.

the relays in the pics from above on the right side in front of the pcm, those are stock relays correct? looks like you just wired it into the stock relays! i wish i can wired my pcm the same way but i cant since its mounted in the front because its a caprice harness. in order for me to do this, i have to cut all the wires and extend them to make it mount in the passenger side, too much work. im guessing this picture shows the c connectors wired into the stock wiring under the passenger? my main concern is how to wire up the wires i have listed. thats the main thing since i dont have any other wires anywhere. the c connectors...do they run to the pcm to because i deleted everything not neccesary and have no wires left except the ones listed. i though for a bit that the c connectors probably goes somehwere besides the pcm corect?

gotta admit. the white looks cleaner... -
i want to do the same to my engine bay also since im doing my clean up but i have doubts about my hands slipping off a bolt and scraping against it. damn, thats the only downfall.
-
are you sure you can get them from kragens? the only ones i saw haded apc logo....

Automatic ECM with Manual Trans question
piston replied to stemo76's topic in Gen I & II Chevy V8 Tech Board
dont you have to reprogram the pcm anyways? -
after looking at it, i did have the c105 and c100 connectors but they do not lead to the pcm at all or any of the connectors on the engine. the only ones i didnt have is c210, c220, and c230. every connector on the engine leads to the pcm. i took out everything i didnt need according to tim240z post a while back. according to his delete post on what to keep on the red-black-white-blue connectors. the wires i list are the only options i have left. no others.
-
thats what i thought? so which wires do lead to a relay? all the wires to the pcm goes back and forth and these are the only wires leading out and cut. so where does my relays go??? these are the only wires that leads out and only wires i can use to wire it up. theres no extra wires anywhere! i have an idea where the basic wires go but not too sure.
-
here are the wires i have thas been cut and only wires that actually there... 2 brown= alternator 2 pink, 2 orange= ignition feed 1 pink= lh o2 1 pink= rh o2 1 pink= fuel injectors 1 green w/ white tracer= vss output 1 brown w/ white tracer= check engine 1 purple= brake signal 1 blue= knock sensor 1 pink= evap solenoid thats it. nothing more. im using 12v 30amp relays and a 10 pin painless fuse block and a constant hot 5 terminal positive block. if anyone can direct me on which wires goes where and which needs relays, it will be great!!! most of them are pin, im thinking goes to relays or positive but dont want to hook up a relay where i dont need. any help would be good. thanks

well, according to the harness i have, it is missing alot of things but i dont see why i would need a new one to rewire it when i have it all traced out and labled already. the only thing missing is the connectors if it even has one on the caprice. i was thinking about just wiring in new relays for fans, pcm, fuel pump etc. cant i just use my stock relay for my datsun fuel pump? only 5 wires needed so why do i actually need a new harness? it has all the connectors for all the sensors on the motor itself. like i said, just missing the fuse box. im sure this wire is very usable, im just not too sure on which wire needs to be hook up and which ones i dont need. this is what i have in mind on doing my wiring. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Custom-Made-4U-Stand-Alone-LT1-GM-Engine-wiring-harness_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34202QQihZ002QQitemZ4634398351QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V im not running any emissons or any ac or power steering. just plain motor. im planning on using the stock relays and stuff for my chasis lights. i was thinking any wires not running from the pcm, i dont need since the pcm does not control my lights etc. isnt that how its suppose to be? the pcm im thinking has nothing to do with my brake light or light switches or signal etc. i have only about no more then 10 wires on the cut harness but i have them already traced. im sure i dont need to spend another 100 buying one with just a couple extra wires. im running this engine as basic as possible. as long as it runs and starts normally. nothing special. so now the question is....do i really need to invest on another harness with those cplugs? doesnt make since to buy a new harness. i have everyone of those connectors in the pic above danno74z posted except for the c connectors.
