    YES 100% DOABLE! and no you do not need dished pistons... me and a buddy did a turbo swap for him and that ment stock motor and stock everything except injectors since he had ms... and tada it was turbo, but you dont need all that stuff just recomended for a longer lasting faster motor....

    yep one was on my car and the other came on my buddys old 280

    I have a full 76 efi wireharness unmulested and ecu... N42 intake with fuel rail and the whole shibang, E46 su manifold, L28 exhaust manifold, air box, 2 maf's, and i think thats it... and ideas?

    How would i put a choke cable in my 280z? i live in vegas it never gets cold here.... i got the su's yesterday for 50$! and im gettin them rebuilt.... does anyone have pix on how to do the "fuel rail" with the T valve? and what size tubing do i need? and how do i install a fuel pump like that is it a direct bolt in??

    I got a citation for not having my z's insurence in the car at the time... i had my other car i get the policies the same day when its renewed and well n e ways i got a ticket for not haveing the z's insurence in the z but it is insured do i have to pay any thing? or do i just go to court to show that it was insured? has this ever happened to anyone? jack

    well actully i was refuring to the carbs.... weather they are the su's or the shitty square port flat tops...

    Well if it doesnt have flat tops you can sell the su's.... and the head and thats probly about it...

    AHHHH when i got ricketed i was in my zx i had 100% striped interior and a racing seat.. lol! he was like speed racer get outa tha car lol....

    how much power do you need in a car that weighs less then 2500 lbs? i mean really please expain i head teh chassis will twist, wit more then 300 hp

    ok in that case go for it! why not keep the L28? its a great motor... and real simple to re build from what ive been told...

    well is it your every day car or fun track car? if every day car do not do it... cage = heat and seat + harnesses just a pain... big thing is that they are cam so even bigger... but if its your track car go for it... and i saw this on craigs list for la... never know id check the common spots for rust

    I know this would be a better place to post since people that would have them would be in here.... i need just 2 su carbs i have a manifold... all i need is the su's as long as there not the square ports....

    ok update the car doesnt even idle now... it starts and sounds like its missing... man this is pissin me off... anyone have su's?

    update: fuel pump is fine... its running super rich! and i cant figure out why i have 3 things in my thermistat housing i know the one with 1 wire is to my temp gadge that i got working now but the other ones i dont know.... my car stalls alot more and its freakin me out on the drive home it shot a fire ball.... need advice one how to test the temp thing im assumin...

    ok rtv sealed up i pluged in the tps to see what it actully does and the car had a hard time and cut out at 3k and when i stoped at the end of my street it was at 500 rpm spuin black smoke and i then turned the car off and unbluged the tps the idle staied the same then went to 1500 what could be the problem? it was spuin black smoke then it stoped....

    problem fixed it was the intake boot after the maf that riped.... so some rtv 2 morrow and shell be good as new!

    id say 3k is a resonable offer if its in as good shape as u say... thats what id pay for a real nice and sound 280z i picked my 76 up for cheap and its in great shape...

    sweet thanks! i beieve the tps is messed up i beieve it was metntioned when i got it... so anyone have a spare tps?
