im doing my brakes now to and am kinda confused about the spining of the brake piston? does anyone have a pic?

I just graduated hs and got some cash for it and have been wanting to get a cage for a bit but not a whole cage.... i know a guy in vegas that has one but its for a 280z and well the part #'s are the same for 280zx and z would it fit in a 280zx? and is it easy to install? Would i need a lift? And when in did you notice a change in the rigidity in the chassis?

core plugs? are those freeze plugs? ive really never understood wht you needed to replace then... can someone explain?

Sweet thanks guys... yea so in my case just replace all seals and gaskets and new bearings and rings for the most part? and im set... im thinking of gettin my motor hot tanked as the head as well....

Hi all im going to be doing a basic motor rebuild the car is not my daily anymore it is going to be auto x'ed and maybe some other track events but i want to do the rebuild and want to know what are the main things that i need or that you guys recomend i get and do you know of any places that sell whole re build kits, and timing kits? and some things that i should thow in the build that would make the motor more dependable and more ready for auto x use? any help and advice on this subject would be great, im sure this has been covered but i would like to have a answer from people that know what there talking about and so im not confused... thanks again... and maybe a price break down if possable... jack

hahaha thanks guys yea some of the techs where asses but if you go in knowin ur ♥♥♥♥ then ur set... it was alot of fun and i really dont think you can put a price on something like that... well the experience at least....

im going for the shelby factory at the race way...

I entered a ford compitation, i did a written test and was able to go up reno to go for the final testing... a car... i came to reno well prepared, they take a brand new 07 grand marques and mess it up, bad relays, fuses, sencors, lights, harnesses things like that. Well you got an 1.5hrs to complete the car and get it to final judging, any ways i got all the bugs except one, and the one that we did not get was one that we did not check unfortunetly, but i came in second in nv the whole state of nv, i got 10k of scolorships, snap on screw drivers, a 250$ fluke, and an ipod! but yea just thought id share lol really happy! Hopefully this is my big ticket to shelby!

when have 002's come in 16? i thought they where 15x8 with a 0 offset... and 3 inch lip....

I got a N47 intake manifold for 10$ just had to drive down to get it which was another 14$ if that so for 24ish bux i got a clean n47 intake manifold! happy! =)

I wana know if this is a rip!.... i asked a local tuner in vegas and what to know if this is a reasonable price im not to familiar but i could be wrong... he stated it would cost 7400 out the door is that way to much? i think it is but im not to familiar with these motors..... would come with stock ecu and i think a fmic and pipin made to fit and what not....

I have a 83 zx and it has a power rack and pinion... i want to know if i can swap it with a manual rack i hate ps i dont have a great feel for the road.... and yea any suggestions?

yea ive decided on 16x8's with a nice offset to get my z lookin nice and mean while using stock fenders.... tires = not really a problem i got a guy that can get me Goodyears for 1/2 price... just need to know dementions... if anyone knows anything about S130s and what wheel would sit nice and flush with the fenders that would be a big help....

yea its for a S130.... im want to get this wheel and i want alot more rubber touchin the ground then is right now and i do not want to put on fender flares i want to use the stock wheel wells and fenders but want to know what would clear what and make it look quite nice...
