ahh ok got cha... yea because i found 3 P90/a heads at the junk yard with turbos manifolds and all that except injectors fully intact.... so im thinkin of goin with my P79 head out and swap on the P90.... and sell the P90a... and the other P90 and only 1 turbo out of the 3 of them has shaft play... and tha one that does is very minimal....

oh because i was planing on the new month or so to install ms and possably go turbo should i just wait and do it all at once?

Ok last night i went out and did a few runs and now my talkin lady or bitchin betty as i like to call her keeps telling me my left door is open but its not.... and its driving me crazy i own a 83 280zx na btw is there a way i can kill her or something im not good with electrial is there a fuse or something i can take out of her? to kill her once and for all?

When i had my 240sx i went out and i crakced my rad. and it seriously lasted 45 seconds after that and the head gasket blew and yea it was a fun night.....

how did you do it? I really like it alot!... kinda what i was goin for but to actully see it on a z omg... details plz....

Hey all sorry to be so bother some... but a friend of mine is sellin me his 280z's intake manifold with the individual intake rails.... well heres my plans i got a 240sx tb, gettin 280zx-t injectors, MSA headers and full exhaust and a new fuel rail... about how much of a power gain would i see? And im na i just wana see where i would be at and shortly after all that i will then be goin ms..... so yea tell me what you guys think... more advice and info the better....

went 30 miles got my 280zx for 750 total this included the tranny and new slave and master cylinder.... ahhh thank god for hook ups... lol

do u have to use specific diff oil? Like lsd oil?

Yea i was reading around and talkin to some local shops they said they do 4 spot welds would you recomend more?

Hi all i own a 280zx and its being preped for gymkahana and drifting... anyone know if it is possable to weld the diff in a z and if its durable? Anyone have a welded diff in there z? What are the draw backs things like that, ive used the search button and cant find anything... anyhelp would be really help full....

Im thinking of goin RB25DET in my zx.... i did some number crunching and i things like that now im not 100% if ms will work for the RB which i hope it does but if it does and worse case it would cost me right around 5500 with all gadges and new water pump and oilpump and headgasket....

I own a 83 280zx.... big thing that i noticed is that there quite reliable i put a beating on my motor and it starts right up everymorning and its commin up on 190,xxx miles.... but things that tend to go from what ive seen is that bolts tend to snap i call them butter bolts, hoses crack, if your not lucky your z will tend to run really hot they then to have cooling problems from what other zx drivers told me due to the fact that the ac condencer is in front of the radiator, the oil pressure gadge is not very acurate, need n e parts go to MSA, Ebay would be a cheap place to get a ECU, but how much he want for the car? I wouldnt pay more then 500 since u dont know 100% if the car actully works....

so its runnin rich, theres a guy out here in vegas and his z runs beyond rich the plugs gotta be changed like every time the car is started... but yea he thought it was his AFM but it wasnt and we still dont knw what it is.... possably a ecu issue?

Hi all i own a 83 280zx na and well ive decided i want to do a RB swap my aim is around 350 or more reliable horses... id like to know what exactly i have to modify to get it to fit, things like that i do plan to run ms. and yea well im really intrested in the swap and have already started saving my money any help would be great guys.... are all RB motors same size weight things like that rpm range.... sorry to be such a noob... dont know that much about the rb's and thought this would be the perfict place to learn about them.....

It really sounds like ur alternator man ive gone through 2 in a 4 months time period... no joke... they just make then like ♥♥♥♥ now... but take the alternator out and take it to autozone they can test it for FREE! god i love autozone... ahhh they betta love me too dumpin like 400+ a month there lol
