Not yet still waiting for some Apexi air filter to turn up from USA imported from a Apexi dealer here in the UK as the 2 other that I bought from eBay were fakes.
-
It's now all wired up now just have a 3 week wait for my engine builder and the rolling road chap to come over and install a safe running in map on my Apexi ECU and start the Z up. Just a few little jobs that need finishing and still waiting for some Apexi air filters to turn up from USA that were ordered end April.

Thanks off to the welders now.

So do you have a bung on the inlet manifold to feed the AAC to a bung on the charge pipe before the TB. And a 2nd bung on the inlet manifold to feed the IAC to a 2nd bung on the charge pipe before the TB.

My gearbox (tranny as you call them) came with no leaver attached so I have bought a Nismo short shifter but what stops it from coming out as the large c-clip i bought from Nissan does not hold it down.

Hello again been away working in London so had very little time apart from my Family BUT have made a big push to try and get the car ready for a massive Jap car show here next weekend and it just might be finished. Over the years I have bought 100s of bits from eBay and never had any problems apart from the last 2 parts I bought for the Z turned out to be fakes so ended up spending a lot more for the real deal from Japan and should have them land in the UK early doors next week. I will post up some pictures soon.

Here you go pictures of my XS downpipe thats been modified by the exhaust shop to fit my 240z, the original one hangs down do low and we had problems loading the car onto the car trailer to take it to have the stainless exhaust made. We also have a RB26 240z in the Manchester area he is also using a modified XS downpipe for the last 5 years with NO problems. So with a FREE XS downpipe it only stands me at £80.00 to have it modified.

Mine was a cheep XS item it came with the elbows and was $100 shipped to the UK, i sold the elbows for $100 so the downpipe was FREE, when i had the exhaust system made he used the XS downpipe that i supplied and with a few mods to make it fit, if it brakes i can always use it as a template for a new one. Its in my workshop and off the car i will take some pictures and post them up as the quality looks OK to me i am sure that if it was that bad the exhaust workshop would have not used it.

That's bad news I hope that the engine is all OK What happened to the N1 oil pump you were using ?
-
Got the oil drain spacer now and its all fitted onto the turbo just waiting now for my mate to come over and refit them. If you are buying a set of Garrett GT2860 Turbos i had to have 15 spacers made up so have some for sale PM me if you want one.

Thanks for the engine pictures what size wastegate are you running. -
Any picture of the car ?.
-
The Garrett GT2860-5 turbos are rated at 360hp per turbo so should support 700hp with all the right kit attached BUT as always the proof will be told on the drag strip or on a Dyno.

Small update finding it hard to spend time on the car with work. I had to have a 15mm alloy spacer made for the front new Garret GT2860-5 turbo as the original oil drain pipe was hitting the housing not allowing it to sit correct. With running 3 AN-6 braided fuel lines (2 feed to the fuel rail and 1 return) i was unhappy with them in the gearbox tunnel so i have made a fuel line box from some 50mm x 50mm alloy box section for the 3 fuel lines to run in and it will sit under the car.
