  1. I don't have any but the guy at Vintage Rubber has it all.
  2. I have a 240z I'm parting out that the tacho is still there and works. I'll be in Oceanside this weekend.
  3. Couldn't you use one from Home Depot? I'm pretty sure they should have a pressure gauge that probably shows a max of 100psi or less.
  4. I didn't think it was breaking news, as you pointed out it's been around for a while. I've seen it floating around multiple times. I was just referring to the CA senate site. It (appears) that it's going to come up for a vote at another later date, but I I'm not sure I'm reading it correctly. Although the SEMA site would seem to confirm the way I was reading the site.
  5. Tony, maybe I don't understand the site, but according to your link, it appears that they initially voted it down, then had a reconsideration granted. Wouldn't that mean it should come up again at a later date? Please do correct me if I'm wrong.
  6. So you don't have to post individually, you can click the "multiquote" button on all the posts you want to reply to. Once you have them all selected, click the "add reply" button. It will have them all in the reply box. They will be separated in the box and you can address each one specifically. I hope this S30 gets back on the road as good as new!
  7. Damn thanks for checking. Thoroughly appreciate it.

    Cam toast?

    Cool thanks guys.
  9. To me, this looks to have scoring and other issues with the lobes. Can any one else corroborate my amateur assumptions or correct me as necessary? http://imgur.com/RW9Ou edit//This is an E88 head I was looking at buying.
  10. Your link to the other forum is broken.
  11. Looks awesome! Out of curiosity, why is the steering wheel on backwards?
  12. When I needed a new hub, I called about 20 junkyards in OC and found zero with an S30.
  13. I thought a big block was one 400 or more cubic inches? I could be wrong though. Also, there is a forum for Ford V8s. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/forum/15-ford-v8z-tech-board/
  14. Here's what I did when I had to separate them. I took a hammer and tapped on the hub in a bit of an outward fashion. I would constantly rotate and tap the hub while holding the rotor till it came lose. I didn't have access to a press, so this was my own technique that worked well. Ended up doing it again when I changed the brakes/rotors.
  15. Post them on Flickr instead. Much better service and interface.
  16. There is no ban on them being imported. The problem is that Motorex only did the crash testing on the R33, then lied about it being viable data for the R32 and R34. This falsification is one of the many things that got them in trouble with the feds. Also, the test data is not public domain, and so therefore, would need to be done again for anyone to possibly import ANY Skylines that aren't over 25 years old. Don't do this. There are a few stories (can find the news articles on NICO Club if you search) of people doing this and having their cars seized and crushed as a result. They are highly aware of people doing this.
  17. If the battery doesn't charge it's probably bad and the alternator may need to be replaced also. Take the battery and alternator to a place like Autozone and they can test it. If the fan is constantly on, the clutch needs replacement.
  18. From my time in the computer industry, FTDI based usb serial adapters usually are the ones with the best compatibility. Lots of other cheap ones have all sorts of tx/rx issues, packet loss, incompatibility with some basic serial things, etc. So I'd say that it is safe to assume that it will work well.
  19. Considering I saw your build thread about 1 month before I bought my first Z, I'd say this represents it quite well. Absolutely love the build. Going to go pickup the magazine tomorrow just because.
  20. This is how I bought the car: I removed the rear bumper just about 2 weeks ago. Glad I did. And some maintenance parts I just purchased. Oil & fuel filter, oil pan and diff cover gaskets, spark plugs, MSA billet lock pulls, battery tie down and j bolt, water pump, timing kit and brake booster check valve.
  21. I was contemplating buying this when I found the Z I ended up purchasing. Glad it found a good home.
