IM PLANNING TO RUN THE N42 HEAD BUT I WILL HAVE A .O6O OVERBORE AND I WILL USE THE 2 MM METAL HEAD GASKET

i can get the 7m-gte with all accessories for 550. that includes turbo manifolds and injectors but the harness will be hacked to shreds

besides MSA where can i get a 2mm metal head gasket?? HKS doesnt seem to have it. if anyone has the part# for the NISMO one that would be cool. thanks in advance steve

im swapping into a 76. do any of the sub-harnesses i need run on the passenger side? and di i need anything else from under the dash? and where is the power transistor box?

where is that and what does it connect to?? i dont think i saw it when i pulled the harness.and only one of the three fusible links were part of the harness that i could see. do i need the others??

ok got the 81 parts car and took out the ECU and AFM. then i pulled the harness out of fire wall and then romeved from all plugs on motor. is there any other piece of wiring that i need?? like the fusible links or relays or anything else like that?? i really need to know before i junk this car next week.

i got an l28et and ran a compression check and it had about 120 psi across all cylinders. is this normal. i really do not want to tear down this motor.

i pulled all of the sensors i could find with the engine and the main EFI harness as well as ECU and AFM, so am i pretty good to go for the swap??

im working on a 89 supra 7m-gte and was wondering how you could deck the block with it in the car?? thanks for any help

this has nothing really to do with me, i suggested to remove and tear down the motor, but it is for a friend of mine and he insists that you can smooth out the top of the block without removing it.

well here is my setup, stock N42 block/head with stock 76 efi setup. unfortunately it leans out bad. but im swapping for a full L28ET motor that i got from an 81 for 100$$

STOCK HP IS 170 AT 5600 RPM AND TORQUE IS 177 AT 4400 RPM. 1/4 MILE IS IN THE LOW 16'S I BELIEVE

Sinc you seem to want the MKIV supra IC use 93 up since those are MKIV, the 89-92 are still MKIII

OK IM RUNNING THE N42 MOTOR WITH A TURBO CONVERSION TO A T3/T4B, 440CC INJECTORS, LIGHTENED FLYWHEEL, LIGHTENED PULLY, 7.8:1 COMPREESION WITH THE ZX TURBO TRANNY AND A VOLVO INTERCOOLER, AND WILL SOON HAVE THE SDS. WITH ALL OF THESE DOES HIGH 11'S SOUND RIGHT??

right now i am in the middle of a turbo conversion on an N42, mostly because i could not find an l28et that i liked and secondly i just overhauled the one in my 76 z. i just got all of the turbo parts together and im starting to assemble it. i got a set of 440cc injectors and will soon be getting the SDS. also im getting an intercooler soon to run a lot more boost and i will be backing this with the turbo 5 speed tranny. hopefully it will all work out or i will blow it up and get the 2JZ. i will let you know how it goes though

is anyone running injectors from a mk3 supra?? im talking about the stock 440cc injectors and what mods did you have to do make them fit?? also are they high impedance or low impedance??
