i do to love to barter. the best part about this is that he had training at uti and took the hot rod class he says 450-500 horse na out of a smallblock 350 isnt anything he could build that in his sleep but i really want to get this thing fuel injected. what do you guys think im going to build it na now but eventually want to twin charge it

ive got a buddy who needs electrical work his time for mine he builds engines all the time at work

10 mpg would be fine and i would love to find a soultion to this engine problem. should i just get a 350 builder and build it up? im so lost i just feel like giving up

ok i just found a ls1 again complete enging minus computer but the wiring harness is there for 1500 im going to look at it tomorrow pm i need to get some help are there any ez identification marks on it? it does have individual coil packs what else can i look for?

i dont know if it helps at all but your oil pressure may be fine but the volume might not be there i know this is what was wrong with my envoy but it was a fuel pupm not oil i dont know if it could do the same thing with and oil pump. this stumped the poor guy trying to fix it and then he happened accross a volume gauge and sawit had pressure but no volume just my .02

the 2000.00 doesnt include intalling it thats just the motor

Im at a very strange point in my z build I first was going to put a 383 stroker in my car then the guy backed out of the deal. Next I looked at a ls1 the guy says its second gen out of a 97 camero, last I looked that should be a lt1. Heres kinda what I am looking to accomplish. I would like around 400hp to the wheels, and still get decent gas milege. I have approx 2000.00 bucks to do this. I already have a build th400 tranny to back it what do you guys suggest. Thanks for all the help. Also as a side note I would love to go boosted sometime in the future.

i agree you could go the the local electronics store and pick up some 12v leds and put them in or you could put them in the mesh section just my .02

ok here is the thing its really messed up but call an electrician out and ask them what them would do to fix it they will get you close and with pictures i could get you closer and a discription of what they say get a smaller company or they wont help as much as you need them to ask them whats wrong with the current setup and let me know ill send you my e-mail addy

i got my new body pannels ordered today my god is paypal a pain in the butt o well im good to go now. Does anyone know where i can get a trim peice for a 79 280zx the crome strip abouve the window? also i need a cowl peice any clue? i will post asap my camera is broke hoping to get one for the holidays if not then i will borrow one thanks for all the help guys and gals

with a sylvania pannel i would suggest looking at a service change. this will give you better breakers and better grounding to your house. Also as a side note when you get a quote dont say you want to save the breakers but tell the guys that come out around here the single pole breakers go for like 9 bucks a pop and the two poles go for around 15 ish so find a used breaker supplier there to sell them to youll make money just my .02

what ohms does the sending unit of a 79 280zx have? I'm looking to replace fuel gauge with after market fuel gauge.
