I am very confused asking for a hand here. I am building a turbo 400 tranny and need to decide if I am going to put in a trans brake. plus sides way better launches manual shifting not to hard on the tranny no way to hit nuetral (reverse pattern) negitives manual shifting having to shift all the time more money Please if you have any oppinions about this i would greatly appreciate it. Background on the car. Its a weekend warrior that is still being built. lots of time and thought have gone into this build and i want to make it unique in its own way. You guys and gals always give me great advice and I thank you for the help

and also why not run a wireless mouse and keyboard. run touch screen it make life way easier

Im toying around with this myself. Im doing a custom dash and mounting it in there below the heating controls (280zx), and am going to have the dvd drive eject between the front seats and hide the computer and a enclosure behind the seats. Only down side to it is now you have the weight of a power inverter, the computer, screen and amps for the speakers. On a plus side you can get a digital tuner for computers:) Im still pondering

Can anyone find some smoke colors for me and photoshop them onto a zx? The old lady thinks it will look good I cant see what she means. Not grey she says it has a gold tint anyone got any clues?

If you put a ac (yes i said an ac) meter on the batery and you see more then .1-.9 volts ac its probably the alt. Just for those of you questioning me on this an alt is a 3 phase generator basically. It has a bridge rectifier the converts it to dc. Sounds to me like a voltage regulator but it could be an alt. just my .02

See the way I figure its about the same weight as the factory cover. If I wasnt so fat and broke my scale lol ok I dropped it but still I'd guess maybe 5lbs tops its super light I can lift it (curl it) with my ring finger only. Its actually not that much bondo, its a very thin coat

Where can i find a replacement cowl for a 79 280zx mine has alot of rust . It might not be called a cowl its the part closest to the front window and the part that the wipers hook onto. Also i need/ want a cowl hood for the same car prefer fiberglass any help would be great thanks guys. Ohh yea in case you guys and gals have not figured it out computers are not my thing.

how well does aluminized pipe hold up?
