Oops, what I meant was that I would be cutting the roof and losing the window frames and door windows all together. Regardless I like the half door idea. hmm... time to get drawing lol. I'll post it up in your ideas/sketches thread when I'm done if you want

I just thought about a similar car to what I want to achieve, a Lotus Elise. I had no problem getting into a targa-ish model but idk about the ones with the roof.

I wonder how hard it would be to get in with the doors welded shut because I'm just cutting the roof above the doors not the whole top. The door bars sound good tho.

I was talking with my Dad a couple days ago about doing this to one of my 240's. Except mine was going to be sort of a roadster in that the roof would be permanently gone, not removable. What reinforcement would be needed to support the missing roof b/c I'd really like to do this.

I would love to have that hood scoop tested b/c I'm putting one on my car and I'm curious as to how effective it is aero wise jon -
I'm not sure which year it is but at my dad's shop he's had quite a few people come in with G35's whose gas doors that won't open b/c the actuator went bad. I think they were earlier years tho, Infiniti has probably fixed that by now. They are very nice tho. Jon

If it was me, I would try to find a wheel I liked with the right (or at least close) offset to make things easier Jon -
of those three i would definitely go with the third pic. that emblem would look pretty cool in the grill of an s30 IMO Jon
