  1. seatbelt. lol jk. Those seats look like they fit the car really good OTM. Nice find
  2. thanks for all the information. So I should only use it if the engine has been built up? Thanks, Jon
  3. First off I did search and found a lot of info about using water/alcohol injection on turbos but no info about using it on L24's. My friend was telling me about a water/alcohol injection system that his uncle hooked up (can't remember what car, not a Z though). The system used a nitrous carb spacer to inject the water/alcohol mixture instead of nitrous. He said that you could use the windshield washer fluid tank, motor, and switch and then whenever you press the windshield washer button, the mixture gets released into the carb spacer. Would this work on a L24 with a holley 4 barrel and BSR intake? (If this is a stupid question sorry, but I don't really know anything at all about water/alcohol injection) Thanks guys.
  4. I checked my MPG again and I had done it wrong somehow, anyway I get around 16 MPG, not 10 lol
  5. would jeep wrangler headlights fit? maybe something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-01-Jeep-Wrangler-Diamond-Projector-Headlight-98-99_W0QQitemZ250111988334QQcmdZViewItem
  6. i agree. the gold and chrome would look kind of odd being on the same car IMHO. the balck and gold sounds really cool tho
  7. That's more than I paid for both of my 240's combined! It would be really cool to have this (would go pretty nicely with my BSR intake), but for over $2000??? I think I'll stick with having mine powder coated haha
  8. Im having trouble finding one locally, and I dont know if I would be able to order one and have it in time to modify it. Does anybody know of a place to buy them in my area?
  9. I think you need another 12 feet or so of exhaust to count as bososoku . I really like the way you did your exhaust btw.
  10. somewhat conservatively lol. i actually think I might have figured it up wrong. I need to check it again to make sure.
  11. aim- jonhiimself (yeah, 2 "i"'s lol) Jon
  12. Is ~10 MPG right for a stock 1972 240z? (PM me so I do jack the tread since its mainly about L28's) Thanks guys Jon
  13. same here. IMHO, they need an S30 next time
  14. its pathetic that some people out there will actually buy this (and probably say that they actually have brembo brakes lol)
  15. Thanks to everybody that donated/helped with this. I wish I could have. This might be a long shot but was the "competition hood vent" (the dealer option one to prevent overheating) tested? Thanks
  16. Welcome to Hybrid Z. I've never seen/heard of anything like that. My guess is that its probably just a trim piece someone put on there. BTW, what part of NC? Jon
  17. I was thinking about doing that b/c in the picture of the charger, they are further back than in my photoshopped picture.
  18. thats for all the input guys. when I paint my car i think I will go with these stripes.
  19. I found a picture of a Charger a couple days ago and really liked the paint scheme, http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n126/jknc90/NewCharger.jpg , I photoshoped it onto a Fairlady Z picture I had on my computer (I think its from the Vildini Motorsports site), heres the photoshopped pic: http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n126/jknc90/NewChargerStyleStripe.jpg Let me know what you guys think Jon
  20. i cant believe nobody has mentioned "One Piece at a Time" by Johnny Cash. kinda reminds me of building a Z haha EDIT: Oh yeah and you can't forget "Lowrider" by WAR
  21. J. Soileau RB26zcar, what would you be doing with the DAD seats afterward? selling them maybe? lol
