I believe the 5 speed KA transmission equivalent would be the 5 speed transmission that comes attached to the SR. The only difference between the two is the bell housing. What about using an RB trans?
Search. You'd be better off with shocks+springs then those. If your going to get coilovers for a S30 then your best bet would be Ground Control, Kameari, Modern Motorsports or custom (AZC,Beta Motorsports, etc.)
I'm almost done mounting my Omori Gauges in my 280z's dash pods. It took a little bit of work to get em in there but they look pretty good. I'll try and snap some pics later today.
Bump! Still need the following;
coil igniter bracket
turbo oil lines
turbo downpipe
vaccum switch
crank pulley from an '81
injectors x2
Name your price! I need these things ASAP also so 2-3 day shipping would be awesome if possible. Oh and shipped to 98006.
I need-
2 stock 280zxt injectors
a L28et cam gear
a 280zx oil cooler
a 280zxt crank pulley
Need em ASAP to get my car running by the 5th if possible. Thanks!
Does anyone have any experience with Hankook RS 2s? I had a 2 on a set of wheels that I had for a couple months and they seemed to grip pretty well in the wet and dry. I was thinking about getting some 195/60/14 for 68 per wheel plus shipping from citytireonline.com.
Hmm... so you can bolt a quick release onto the hub that you pictured above? I have the exact same one but am totally lost in terms of how to install my k-sport quick release b/c the instructions are in Japanese. I was thinking about getting something like this-http://www.racinglab.com/nrg-short-hub-nissan-004.html
Used this kit when I did my 5 speed conversion a week or 2 ago. So far I've put around 2-300 miles on the setup and everything seems to be working fine. I'm using a 5 speed out of a 280z 2+2 fyi.
nice progress! for some reason or another I was under the impression that you had already sorted out your suspension setup and thats why you were going to build the turbo motor. Looks like almost he exact same setup that I have but I have Suspension Techniques springs.
I thought you needed a quick release adapter hub for a quick release to work? Like this...http://www.prolightstar.com/nrg-steering-wheel-short-hub-nissan-004.html/
