A bit off topic but what do you plan on doing with the VG and all of the associated electronics? I'd be happy to take the harness, ecu, dizzy, etc for a Z31 ECU upgrade on my L28et .

5k would be enough for a shop to do a L28et swap along with some goodies included. As everyone else has said an RB26 swap is very costly and unless you get a deal on a motor set and do all the work yourself, 5k is nowhere near enough.

I need a 280zxt tachometer resistor to get my tach working. It is in with the coil / ignition harness, it is a blue wire and it goes up into the S130 zxt dash. Picture- Pm me or reply to this thread. Need it ASAP please. Thanks!

Update for This Thread- The NRG short hub for the s13/14, 200sx,etc does work with modification. I received my NRG short hub 2 days ago and after pulling it out of the box had my doubts as to whether or not it could fit. After some test fitting I discovered that the hole is too small.So I just bored the hole from a 5/16 to a 1/2 and it fits very snuggly with the addition of a spacer. I will snap some pictures for those interested later today.

If your turbo and running stock boost it should work out fine.

I believe the stock injectors are won't be of much use after 12 or 13 psi. And since your running the JWT ecu you would have to have it re tuned if you swapped the injectors. Nice numbers btw.

I heard another disadvantage of the CA is the fact that the aftermarket support for them is slim pickings compared to the enormous aftermarket support for the SR.

With this modification do you need to have the 300zx CVs or do the S30 CVs work after modification?

S13s in the USA were not offered with a VLSD until the production years of 1991 until 1994. Even then only the 240sxs equipped with the HICAS 4 wheel steering received the VLSD. S14 Zenkis (1995-6) did come equipped with VLSDs but only on the SE model as an optional package. The S14 Kouki (1997-8) came equipped with a VLSD on both the LE and SE models. I have heard that the VLSD is good for a daily driver but if you are looking to track the car it is better to go with an aftermarket 1 way, 1.5 way or 2 way LSD depending on what you plan on doing with the car.

New Issue- Car will start but after running for 5 minutes it sputters and dies. It idles and revs fine while in neutral but dies after 5 minutes of normal driving. It does make boost but after 3 thousand rpms it hits a wall almost and refuses to rev any higher while in gear. Just changed the plugs out for new and no luck. I did notice that the spark plug holes had fuel pooling in them if that is of any help.

Update- Finally runs after 4 months of hard work and frustration. When my brother started her up i felt all tingly inside . Oh and the timing was way off.
