  1. PS I also changed my mind on the metalic blue to White and metalic gold stripe and rims with a metalic gold center and a polished lip. And I just got my illuminas. Here is a mocked up photoshop picture and I like it...What do you guys think?
  2. I just picked up a M122 GT500 supercharger (see pictures)$250 w/ only 1000miles and Harmonic dampener for $40 shipped. I also got a ECM to run either the 4.6L w/ the GT42 Turbocharger or the Supercharger and I plan on making a custom manifold to run an Air to Air intercooler.
  3. Here are some pictures of the latest progress... I got my powder coating done. In the picture of brake parts are some big brake candidates.

  5. Hear are some pictures of the brakes. I found a company in Los Angeles that will drill the blanks for our wheel lugs.
  6. I wanted something exotic...Like the 60's Ford OHC 600hp big block that I read about when I was a teen. And I wish I could do headers also...Maybe in the future.
  7. The distributor is H.E.I. (Hi Energy Ignition) brakerless. Which I have the whole setup so I could fire up the engine while I'm figuring out the electronic ECM. Here are some links of setups that are way easier. The guy that sold me the stand alone and distributor setup went to. 8. I just picked up a couple of options for ITB's, 4 ddl., distibutor, and stand alone ign. Here are some pictures
  9. attached is a picture of my front brakes and I am waiting for a custom rear rotor and adapter. Here are the specs: Brembo 4 piston fronts and 2 piston rears 355mm (13.98") Diameter 32mm (1.26") thick Fronts 336mm (13.23") Diameter 22mm (0.87") thick Rears PS the rim is an 18" and sent in all my suspension for powder coating (I'll post pictures soon).
  10. It's been awhile since I have read or posted...I don't have the Q45 V-8 but I do have Titan VK56.
  11. I have (6) of the 4.6L's and (4) 5.4L's and the 5.4L doesn't fit and the 4.6L fits and I had a Tremec 5 speed. All the other motors only come in Automatics...I got the automatic bellhousing for the motors that I will be adapting to a manual setup. PS I have (2) 0 mileage hyundai genesis coupe 2012 V8's and (3) 0 mileage hyundai genesis coupe 2012 V6's. 3.8L Lambda V6 engine producing 306 hp (228 kW; 310 PS) and 266 ft·lbf (361 N·m) torque. 4.6L Tau V8 producing 385 horsepower (287 kW) at 6,500 rpm and an identical 333 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm More fun for the future
  12. After a few years of buying all kinds of engines (L28 turbo w/ jim wolf ecm, Nissan VK56DE, mercedes brabus inline 6 3.4L, AJ34S Jaguar XJS 400hp, Ford GT500 5.4L etc) and finally I got a wild hair to get something installed...The rest is history.
  13. Yes it looks cramped BUT remarkably everything has been designed to be accessible...ie waterneck to block I had to cut out ~2" out so that I would clear the frame, I used F150 solid rubber mounts (that had mount recievers bolted to the frame in place of the liquid filled round mounts. I used the battery tray area to tap into the passenger side vent for a fresh air solution...I also used a Expedition oil filter relocation setup (which I will tap into for an oil cooler. I am currently going down a rabbit hole and installing ABS and 98 Lincoln MK8 Air Conditioning with digital control. Lots of fun. Thanks for the reply PS I tried installing a 5.4L with twin turbos but the long block alone wouldn't clear the hood.
  14. I agree...that was the plan BUT I tried multiple times and when I removed the "tacked" mounts they came apart. Thanks though!
  15. If you paid that much...they should have givin you the file or diagrams? Let me know and I will check my machinest on cost...I also had similar thoughts on dual Z32 fronts..."If more is better then too much is just enough" a little over kill but I like it.
  16. Are you still interested? I have a couple of pairs of modified strut/spindle, steering arms and hubs for 4 lug...you'll need to source the 240sx z32 rotors on FleeBay. The cost without sectioning is $350 and if you want I can lower the spring perches. I can section them for an extra $100. They are a direct bolt on and look great. Are you going with coilovers? are you sectioning and 4 lug? I have a solution. PM me.
  17. I have seen stress cracks on rotors wo/ cross drilling, and another example that you will see these stress cracks are on flywheels and thay are not cross drilled also...Also it is very important to have properly chamfered holes other wise you will hear a loud buzzing noise and will be more likely to crack.
  18. I tried my hand at welding the motor and trans mounts...Horrible so I will be paying for a local mobile welder to come out and weld everything up at once. I am waiting on funds to finish the suspension ( powder coating ) and am currently putting in the Lincoln MK VIII heating and A/C system and the 300zx z32 ABS system...If I use the 15" Swastikas...I will have to use Q45 (in place of the z32 calipers) calipers for now. The rears are late Z31 turbo rear ventilated setup.

  23. Thanks for the offer but I have a couple more...Also I don't know if I should post the brakes, suspension and more. Well here are some pictures...The brakes are my old setup that I never got to test I have moved to the Z32's on the fronts and vented rears.
