  2. Never thought Ide like that colour on any car, but wow, Phil your car looks amazing, congrats!!
  3. Ok so I had a quick search, K is the code, its called Magnum grey. http://www.fordpaintcodes.co.uk/ford-focus-98-2005
  4. As far as I know, K is the colour code for they grey, and the 01 is the year of the car. The code was K01
  5. The code is from a 2001 ford focus, the code is either K1 or K01, hope that helps Cheers
  6. No problem using the pic you can work away..........I actually like the lines of the 2+2.....which is why I bought one ............I do however like what you have done with the rear window but ide rather the standard roof..... The wheels are 17" Jay
  7. Ok thanks for that, The reason I asked is because I had to modify my manifold as it was clashing with my TWM intake. Its all sorted now however it was a pain to fix!
  8. Just out of curiosity, did you try fit your inlet manifold on also?
  9. That Nismo sports manifold looks very similar to the one I made........I copied, well not an exact copy as I was only working off a picture, but tried to copy the black manifold in the pic above. It also look the same the the nismo sports one?
  10. Thats a JDM Nismo header, only fits RHD as far as I know
  11. Here's my attempt at a RHD JDM
  12. I love the colour, is makes the car look super clean. that engine bay is lovely!!
  13. Not a fan of the wheels, but that is one clean 2+2, I love it, well done
  14. Well im not 100% sure on the 10:1 CR ratio as none of the calculators allowed for the 2mm shaved off the head. I used a standard head gasket. Jay
  15. well the engine was put together a year and a half ago now, only done 5k in that time. And yes I probably should have done the port and polish back then I just dont like the smoke on startup............compression is "roughly"10.1 Its a f54 block, p90 head shaved 2mm, flattop pistons, stage 4 cam and triple dellortos, and its an NA motor I thought there was something wrong with cylinder 6 as the reading was much higher than the rest I'm using 20w 50 oil at the moment. Jay
  16. Oh ok well thats good news, I thought there was something wrong with cylinder 6 as the comp was higher than the rest. Yeah I think ill take the head off, replace the seals and guides and maybe port and polish while am at it. Thanks
  17. Hi all, When I started my car last weekend I seen some blue smoke from the exhaust.......I havent noticed any before when starting although there could have been.........It cleared after a few seconds, when the engine is warm and I rev it it also smokes slightly. I have only 5k miles on the engine so I was surprised.......I bought a compression tester today and looks like there is a problem. 1 183psi 2 183 3 185 4 186 5 185 6 191 Whats up with this? The engine is running perfect nice and smooth with no knocks or bangs. The car did overheat on me once when running it in after a frost plug came out, maybe the oil stem seals have hardened? although I dont think this would have anything todo with the high reading on cylinder 6. I was expecting a low reading on a cylinder not a high one Jay __________________
  18. I didn't reuse the inserts as I painted all the chrome black on the car.
  19. seats look good!! Havent been diving my car much, started it up yesterday and there was blue smoke!! only about 5k miles on the engine, it cleared after awhile but still dont like smoke! Starting to get a few bits together for a 3.1 stroker, probably be on the cards for next year The lights is the latest thing I changed on the car
  20. I dont like the "roof vent" or the exhaust or stripes, apart from that its nice. Wheels really look well on it.

    Header Flange

Hi all, I'm going to "attempt" to make a stainless header and twin exhaust setup. Does anyone have a file with the dimensions of the header flange. Or even somewhere I can buy a stainless flange? I searched and found and old thread but couldn't open any of the files. Many thanks, Jay
  24. I think thats just the angle I took the picture at............
  25. They are sealed pretty well around the top if the cowel but there is a small gap on both sides down on the bottom corners, they shouldn't let too much water in though, the only time the car gets wet is when I wash it.
