  4. Hi all im doing a stock l28et swap in my 73 240. But the crank pully was chipped on the outer belt groove. Parts are scarce. Dose any body have an idea of what I could use on it for a crank pully? Say a n/a 280zx pully? Or if anybody has a zxtnice pullyfor sale let me know. I've search for this and no results..thanks for your time!
  5. Imo id put a nice motor in it being that you don't have the matching numbers block. Nice build im looking forward to seeing more!
  6. Hi all fellow z heads and on lookers. im starting my turbo build and thought it would be nice to have a nice timeline for you all to see and comment on. i must say i love viewing other peoples builds. so i thought id add another one for people to learn from or be able to guide me threw a tuff sopt in the build. ok as for what i have to work with i have a 1973 240z and i dont know what year..would be nice to find out but i dont know how to tell l28et motor. i chose the 73 because it had a bigger break booster which i thought would be better with the added power. as where im at with the build...i just pulled the motor. and sanded and primered one coat on the body. i have one spot of body work i need to fix (weld in a small panel on the rear left side above the exhaust port, due to rust). my motor just came in from the shop. i stripped the motor down to the block and had the block hot tanked and magnafluxed. it was bored 20 over and crank was polished and rods were reground. new main and rod bearings. new pistons and rings. and new oil gally plugs. thats about it for the block. my head had new valve springs installed along with a valve job. it was pressure tested also. thats it for the head so far. im just starting to go back togeather with the head and motor. i just painted the block and started putting the cam and rockers in. so thats where im at now i will list pics and updates as i go along. my intentions for this build is nothing crazy. i would like to run megasquirt fuel rail and cpu but im just scratchiong the surface at what it all is . im noit looking to go big right off the bat i want to get it running pretty much stock. and then up grade. im sorry for spelling or bad typing. im open to suggestions and advise. and any comments! plesas enjoy and feel free to share!!
