I read this thread last night and low and behold I go out to my Z this morning and someone went through all my crap!!! GRR!! They didnt find anything to steal cuz I dont even have a stereo yet, but they dug through my rubbermaid box of fluids, jumper cables etc. I HATE THIEVES!! OFF with their hands!!

Well the Z guy who put on the wheel cylinder and master cylinder bled the master cylinder while i pumped, so im sure he's seen it work if thats what you mean-im a noob on the whole brake booster/master vac issue, i just know something hissing like a vaccuum leak when i pump the brakes and it tries to kill my engine at idle.

First off my car is a '75 280 with a 78 rear end and threaded steel brake lines. I did a "brake" search and found that when most people apply the brake pedal and it hisses their rev's go UP-well mine tries to kill the engine completely if i keep it held down. My pedal goes right to the floor on the first pump but after 2 more i can get pressure but the brakes still suck!! I know i need shoes in the back. Also I'm slowly loosing fluid. We just replaced the right rear wheel cylinder and the brake master cylinder. Can you guys please tell me if this is my booster or a master vac ($267! from MSA). Thanks a million guys...

Globerunner you inspire me! Im 20 and seeing your progress really makes me just want to tear into my Z! haha. I also really like the speakers in the door panel-im gonna get some of those rocking. I think im gonna make my own speaker box for the back and save 100 bucks. Call me crazy...

I'm sure we can all find something on our Z's that would look really good powder coated! You've already got connections just from being a member on here-nows your chance!! I just painted my stock airbox but when I get some wheels I'll need my calipers painted-there you go! I know if you advertise on this and some other forums you could make some bank. Hang tough brother.

looks tight man-how much was you 6X9 speaker box? Motorsport wants 144.95 for theres! Awesome color choice-i think its my favorite ive seen on a Z.
