Hey there, I am shooting for 300-350 horsepower at the wheels, what turbo should I be looking for? I know NOTHING about sizing turbos. Can anyone help me with this? Or any books I should read to teach myself? Cheers!

Looking at exhaust manifolds, been talking to NZEFI for intake and computer. Seems we might almost head toward a Link G2 computer as well (My god where am I spending all my money!!)

I have "QUIKZX" for my 280zx, was looking for "QUIKGT" for my Legacy GT but was already taken though!

Most important question would be, WOuld you be willing to do it again? Would love to see somthing like this in production, you could be the Man to do this! Any idea on total hours it took? Well done anyways looks very nice

Hey there, What sort of difference would I be looking at if I was to go 305 rather than 350? There is currently a 305 going for not to bad a price here and I would be quite happy to just get started on my Z! Would need some extra to get it all going and still be needing a tranny. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Car-parts-accessories/Chevrolet/auction-45574963.htm I guess I would be most concerned with wether or not 350 parts work on a 305. Now thats quick response! JT1, this is NZ dollars and of course most vettes here you looking $30,000 at least so this is a bit of a cheaper one. I sorta know the shop that is selling it (they are one of only 2 shops here selling chev stuff!!) I might be able to get it up on a lift to take a look. Cheers for you help

He isnt looking for a numbers matching, concours 100 point car, and he realises that there is work needed. But anything that would make it a total no go? Cheers!

Well as a reality check here as well, I could get a nice LS1 with harness, ecu and 6 speed. Just $12000! We arent really a Ford or Chevy show here in NZ and anything out of a newer holden would be and is DAM expensive!

hey I would love a 350 for the extra cubes! But I cant find them here unless they are total rat sh*t! I can get a new GM 2 bolt mains long block for $3,995! or a core return for like $895!! so still looking theres just a healthy 4 bolt 327 for $1800 up for sale at the moment!

and anything on power wise? I realise that the 350 will be have more power potenial due to the lager displacment but you can still work up the 327 to be a bit peppy?

When I was looking at MSA, the shipping was shocking to get stuff over here, remember it all is shipped as oversize

Also, mine came with a mesh in lower part of the grill and he gave a choice of color for the gelcoat. I will try to remeber to get pics tonight to post up but no promises, as haing Xmas party at my place!

When I got my bumper from him, he said that the mold for his side skirts were totally shot so he would need a 280zx to work on. I was thinking about it. Would you all like me to enquire further? I can post up pics of my bumper later if you would like, it is sitting in my shed!

That car is DJ's, he is here in CHCH as well. They do still make those, quite a nice wee bumper but they dont have the pics on the site
