I personally do not like the sunroofs in a z car, that is why I want a t=op in my 280z as well. If I do get t-tops in my 280z wil l Ibe able to auto-x it, and will a rb26dett twist the frame if it makes over 500hp at the wheels? If I can't auto-x my 280z with t-tops then I will just find a 280zx and go from there.
I woke up this morning and thought of buying a 280zx roof, and weld it on my 280z, and I would sell the 280z roof because it is pretty much perfect, no dents, and very little rust by the windsheild where the weatherstripping is.
for the efi harness a wire come directly from the positive terminal of the battery and runs directly behind the engine, and into the firewall on the drivers side.
i have a 1975 280z coupe... and no the fusible links are not the ones on the passenger fender.... I will Have to take pictures of what I am Talking about. I should have pics up after this weekend.
I never thought of stiifening the car with a cage.... good idea. I need more people to give me their opinions. The whole reason why I want T-tops is because I don't wan't to buy another Z car to restore, because I am already restoring one z car, and I don't want a convertible z, so I chose the t-tops becasue they look great on any coupe or at least to me they do.
I want T-Tops on My 75 280z coupe, I could easily take my car to a well respected auto glass shop, and have them do this for me. I was wondering what everyones opinion is on this.
that still doesn't answer my question.... this may be the answer to all of my fuel pump problems....The sooner I can find out the answer to
(WHAT AMP IS THE EFI FUSEABLE LINK) the sooner I can get my car on the road.
What is the amp rating for the fusible link for the EFI harness. These fusible links are the ones that come directly off of the positive terminal of the battery.
what is everyones opinion on the hatch, and the quarter window louvers from black dragon. I'm painting my car a flat black, and i plan on putting a black hatch, and side louvers on my 75 280z. do they last a while, do they crack or fade?
no that pic was when the car was not running..... but when i turn the fuel pump on (wired a 12v switch) and then i turn it off the fuel pressure drops to zero in less than 5 minutes
the gas goes to the back of the tank, and lowers the arm which reads the gas level which in turns reads on the guage E, and when you brake the guage will read Full... Its the gas in the tank moving aound, my girlfriend moms chevy lumina does the same thing.
