  1. You'll have to wait till after the 31'st when I go rip it up.. lol
  2. I'm taking my M3 to a lapping day event on the 31'st. It's a pretty cool track, check out these vid.
  3. I found it in my garage attic when I bought my house. I left the garage door open, and it was probably about 35*, so it ran in looking for warmth. I just call it cat. I'm bidding on a set of Brembo 4 piston front calipers.. 38/44mm pistons. This is starting to get expensive.. ohh the project already is expensive.. now 2000$ calipers!! I can't believe someone could charge 2100$ for 1 caliper.. madness.. but, used is the way to go. I guess I'm going to have to make some radial caliper mounts.. any input!?
  4. Brembo makes the radial adapters. P/N 80.040 Check out how big these brakes are.. The rear disc adapters that I have are 4.5" bolt spacing.. So I can't mount it for giggles. I do wan't to make a mount, and I will probably try to mount it radially.
  5. Before. After. Before. After.
  6. Yeah, kind of an impulse buy.. I'll probably end up going with Wilwood Superlites. At least I can hopefully sell the caliper, as they're 762$ new. wow.. Or, sweet rear calipers..
  7. I found that these are XA3.G2 brake calipers. MSRP each is 762$, wow.. I hope I can find another one on Ebay. Now I need to find a brake rotor that puts me in the general area.. I need a 4 bolt, 10.9-12.3" dia rotor, that's 24-25mm (1") thick. The caliper also has a spacer, so I might be able to go 1.25". I think the 300ZX rotor is about that size, but it is 5 bolt. Hummm.. Tech specs. https://www.hrpworld.com/client_images/ecommerce/client_39/products/pdf_882_1.pdf
  8. Here's what I just bought, only 1 caliper, have to find another one somewhere. Hopefully I can get these to work for the front. It came with 3.5" lug mount adapters. These are from the Nascar Busch racing series. Rear brake calipers, I want to use them on the front's. They are titanium 4 piston 26/30mm pistons. What do you guys think?
  9. Wow, those rear caliper mounts look great.. Mine are rusted. Zinc plating didn't hold up.
  10. I've only had to pay for oil changes.
  11. Just got it and already planning a V8 swap!! LOL.. I like you, but you're crazy man.. youre crazy.. man...
  12. I already have the chassis blasted, and have sub frame connectors and new floors in it. It's going to be easier to put a 12 point cage in because it's all blasted already. I kind of want to do a tubular front end on it, so there will be a lot of fab anyway.. 240Z vs. 260Z, well not much left of the original car anyway.
  13. Wow Braap, those brakes on the M3 look nice. My E46 M3 has the stock brakes, which function just fine, but are nothing special. And brake kits for it. lol. I'd have to have a child and sell it..
  14. It's not finished yet.. but . Cadillac Escalade - 6.0L LQ9 motor Corvette Z06 (C5) - Heads, intake manifold Corvette Z06 (C6) - Clutch/Flywheel Z31T - R200 VLSD 240Z - Strut tubes/front brakes Nissan Maxima - rear disc brake
  15. I have a 260Z that I'd like to focus on finishing and could use the money towards that also. Also, using the parts from the 240Z.. (LQ9, T56, R200, adjustable suspension, racing seats)
  16. Really cool. Can't wait to see a tube chassis with a drop on Z body. Any plans for carbon on the body elsewhere? Doors/hatch/rear fenders/roof/rocker panels... doesn't leave a lot of steel left over..
  17. I'm stripping my 240Z of parts, and basically selling the body. The body is a 1973 240Z. It would come with a good condition 240Z dash, VIN and title. It has the floors patched and boxed sub frame connectors welded on. Only surface rust on the body. Rear roll pan area is wrinkled up a bit. Engine mounts in place for LS1/LS6, GEN III motor, and T56 transmission cross member mount. Fuel cell area where spare tire was. (Haven't decided about keeping the fuel cell or not) Auto Power roll bar. Dual exhaust for a LS1/LS6 that will fit the chassis. Most of the body just needs to be cleaned up and repainted. I have enough work getting my 260Z 12 point cage in and all the stuff I want to do to that one. Although I am considering keeping it, and working on it later. 1 street V8 Z, and 1 track V8 Z.. Money wise, new mounts for the other Z will cost me around 100$, and the roll bar could be sold separate, as well as the dash. Tell me what you think is a good price. Also, it is stripped of all wiring. Seems like a good place to start if you want to clean up the chassis. In action!!
  18. A few of my friends have similar bikes, not all out trails, but dirt jumpers. I've tried the lurches and ♥♥♥♥ and it's not easy. A lot of blood shed to get that good.
  19. Wow, just looking at that will leave a few people crappin their pants.
  20. I know the Honda 954 CBR has foam inside the swing arm to make it stiffer.
  21. Wow.. very fast! looks like you're smokin the tires down the track too..
