  1. I`m not trying to be difficult here. It is not in My nature. So, no offense is intended. However, I like straight answers without condescending remarks.
  2. :burnout:Well, I`ve got company! Just trying to get an answer to a question. Where do I get the oil dump fitting?
  3. So ,You want to keep this thing going? OK! WHERE DO I GET THE HOLSET DUMP FITTING? I am figuring the Dodge dealer OR???????. I have Three months or more -no big rush here. IT`s ..well You Know what it is. A flange with two bolts. Nice IM job (I got it!). Don`t know about the torch thang. HUHHH?!?n Did You get the placement of the vacuum hoses? 1 to inlet two(bottom) nipple of actuator, second to input of boost control,Third from boost control output to top actuator nipple?Requires a T to do this. I THINK I got this right. Thanks Roger

  5. Let`s lock this thing up. If I had seen thumpers second page, it would have been a no brainer. But, hopefully some folks may have been helped. I went through all the threads until, as another said "My eyes bled". I missed the second page. The outlet oil line fitting is probably at the local Dodge dealer. Sorry about the thread jump! Anyway, thanks for the superb information on this site. Roger
  6. sorry about the short posts-but that` the way it is!!
  7. And, why would I have to "heat up and bend" anything--with a rubber hose.
  8. I have seen this thread. The inlet stuff can be handled by the autometer adapters. What I was asking for was the Outlet fitting. I have a 81 LET so the oil pan is ready. I have seen plenty of garret outlets, but no holsets. So, dodge...or other supplier?!
  9. Autometer can take of the input. Which company can take care of the output===of the oil--adapter?
  10. Hey slow old car! the center tap thing got me wondering(has nothing to with the nonexistent problem). You can get adapters (metric to nps, bps) to take care of the oil feed problem. My only problem now is the oil discharge side. Who makes those things? for the holset
  11. And the internal VS external wastegate controversy continues!
  12. Hi Guys!, I found the answer in Thumpers thread "Any ideas on how to manage boost creep"--complete with diagram on pg. 2. Thanks for your help and interest,Roger
  13. And,I read on a previous thread where pressure on both sides was a good thing. That`s where I got confused. Well, bad information!
  14. Hey, Thanks Gearheadstik! So no manifold input at all! I`m thinking "LIKE DUH!! But, why the two inputs in the first place? Why not just one and be done with it. This would imply either two manual boostcontrollers, or a dual entry boost contoller....or none at all!
  15. And I Hate being called a "junior member". I`m pushing 60 and bought And I Hate being called a "junior Member". I bought My 280z 2+2 in 76--My ex wife got the 68 Mustang that year--welcome to it-no loss from my side.
  16. Or,is there any benefit from the two vacuum inputs. Would make things easier from a manual boost control standpoint. Just plug one of them--and move on. Or get a single input ?!
  17. Ok--thanks for the quick response! As I understand it, from previous threads one vacuum line goes to the comp housing(as I can tell from looking at the Holset in front of me with original actuator) the other to the intake manifold. So, how does a manual boost work on this setup---or not?
  18. Hi! Wondering how you run a manual boost off this. Or megasquirt? Thanks, Roger.
  19. Hi! Have a 76 2+2 ( 6-76) converting to turbo. Have a turbo block sold to me as an 82 but has a crank trigger---so an 81?! At any rate can a 76 distributer be used or converted? I want to use the stock ignition with a megasquirter as a stand alone for fuel management. Any threads that would be usefull? I`m not looking for megahorsepower--I also race a 68 chevelle street stock at the local high banked oval. 12" boost would be plenty! Hell, the original Z was awesome! Thanks for The great information on this site!
