  1. Not interested about drifting. First I was building that car for street and track days. Now I think that my modified Z33 will be always better in corners, but I still have to try how it goes. In drag strip have to off course break old records, and maybe try standing mile too There is no particular reason for 2+2. Found that car for sale near me. Never knew how much work going to do with that...
  2. Yes, turbo absorb sound and 6cyl is not loudest anyway. Mostly when its used I will drive helmet in head In dyno we will find out what difference it makes in power curve.
  3. Exhaust now opens manually with switch, and there is enought flow when needed (through 4.5" pipe). I used powerful linear actuator as motor ( 330 pound max lift). That is IP65 protected and I made heatshield too.
  4. Ride height check after exhaust build. Everything looks Ok. Front airdam is the lowest part of car. I liftet suspension up 25mm after that. Looks doesnt matter at this time. After some testing with cardboard and different colours I desided to go with headlight covers (inside black) Friend helped me with sticker (or what it is called. ) Even headlight cover brackets painted black (it will need black screws too)
  5. It was time to change flushing oil away. I saw nothing special except oil colour. Not good thing using E85 ethanol fuel in first starts and not getting oil warm enought... After that. New oil and filter in. Bleeding rear brakes and ready to make some mapping With my friend helping online we made whole new fuel and ignition maps and it runs smoother again. Throttle pedal was limited to 50% at first. Rear brakes are too small and got some fire problems in brake pads but soon it will be ready to dyno. Boosting only 0.55bar at now. Have to try next with full throttle Some video again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kIHVTjW73U
  6. Exhaust was amazingly quiet with only those small silencers (without boost off course) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwpspGv3wC4 Yesterday I started to make carbon / aluminum switch panel. I think it will be pretty nice.
  7. Finished product. It sits pretty nice Everything stainless.
  8. Continued with exhaust. Unfortunately ran out of Argon gas, but looks like it will sit in correct height (and car can be low). New custom driveshaft. Pipe is 76 x 2.4mm
  9. Exhaust coming with 4.5" boost activated cutout and 3" end pipe with one resonator and one silencer. Yesterday started with cutout.
  10. New GPS speedometer with white led display. I still have to make speed sensor for Haltech. Probably hall-sensor to read cv-axle bolt.
  11. New 94mm stroke crankshaft for Evo2 engine Dash in place. Wiring work almost ready. Today I was testing that Tein EDFC controller. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6NuyPgIy8U
  12. I bought those gauges long time ago and I thought it was good idea to get something special (115mm boost gauge). Im gonna use digital gps speedometer on top of the dash. Probably with external gps antenna. Dash is now in place and it looks good already. Pictures coming later. I continued with wiring.
  13. Its homemade, you newer know... I tested Defi gauges while engine running. Had to order one new sensor cable for oil temp. All other worked fine. Today I made better brackets for gauges. Soon that dash is ready for installation.
  14. Before putting boost to engine, I started to build new short block from 2JZ-GTE, and it will be backup if I break current engine Billet main caps incoming, probably stroker crankshaft, custom pistons, better connecting rods and much more.
  15. Driveshaft is not ready yet. When its done it should be driveable, but there is no rush to drive it. All depends on weather, because its winter now Maybe dynotune with trailer. So it is possible to break the engine before summer Today small engine tune and getting it warm. It runs smoother. Have to fix couple of small leaks now. (injector 5 fuel rail and turbo water return flange) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bauryGPiIaw
  16. Thanks. New engine running first time today! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpTyG7hNa9w
  17. All engine bay wiring done. Now moving to complete cockpit wiring and then trying first start for this engine.
  18. Carbonetic triple plate clutch ready. I changed R154 Hub to regular 2JZ-GTE clutch and Using Tilton hydraulic release bearing.
  19. New pedals by Tilton installed. Lot of work done with electronics
  20. Great job! Looks good
  21. Boost pipes and water hoses pretty much done. Still some work to do before engine bay electronics.
  22. Downpipe and wastegate pipe going together Big enough (114.3mm and 60.3mm)
  23. Engine head is ready. Valve clearance is adjusted and camgears too. Engine is now fitted to car. Today I made some brackets to coils and fuel rail.
