Sadly.........it seems the U.S. is trying to slowly force out diesels for commuter cars.
-
Maxima throttle body smaller than L28et.
-
The purpose of the hose it to allow filtered air to enter the crankcase since the PCV takes care of evacuation of said air and blow by but I could swear that the air is also metered in the stock implementations of the system.
-
What oil temps were you seeing?
-
Damn Braaap......whatever is under that bonnet is very worthy.

I'm sure somebody can come close to how much actual shaft horsepower is sent to the turbo by exhaust gases at boost by crunching numbers but I'm not up to that task.
-
Did the later head gaskets start that block some holes happen to show up at about the same time as the cylinder head exhaust port liners?
If so, would one believe the holes were blocked because the liners keep some heat from the exhaust port from conducting into the head?
-
Hmmm.........I wonder if the appearance of liners was at the same time that they blocked some holes in the head gasket?

If you don't save it, at least save the flange on the input shaft of the diff.
It's a different size for 280zx turbo and it might come in handy.
-
First thing to check is if you have bad body ground.

I got 20mpg towing a 5x10 foot u-haul trailer with a 280zx turbo.
The turbo failed so I removed the T fitting, unhooked the wastegate actuator, and slid a very thin shim between the drain and the tube to block exhaust gases.
So it got 20mpg towing a trailer at 3400rpms with 7.4 to 1 compression, the exhaust wheel seized and the intake wheel rolling around in the housing.
-
I ran a 1980 280zx turbo into which I put a 3.9 R200 and that car ran hard right up to a very abrubt wall at the same rpm every time.
Now with stock gearing, it happened at the same point on the speedo but I was going a whole lot faster.
My point is that with the 3.9 gears it was easy to run it into what feels like a limiter.

It's for the gauge but you see it on later cars that aren't even turbocharged.
I think the non-turbo cars that use the boost sensor could be possibly using the data to determine instant mileage used on displays though most use pulse width, vehicle speed, temp....etc. to do that.
It may also be used in some cars to determine high rpm a/c clutch cut-off.

Good table with good vice and a hammer.

LOL at some weasels making up a new term for something that's been practiced ever since internal combustion vehicles showed up.
A RD28Ti in a S130 would be sweet.

I'll measure the infiniti m30 axles I have since they are exactly the same length and share the inner side hardware.
The flange on the stub axle side is larger diameter so you need it is well.........if they prove to be thicker/stronger....they may not.

Check the with guys who do this all the time.

Make sure to set your preferences for more than 30 days or you won't see jack.

Since a very similar tranny came on the pathfinder 2wd models, I would assume the clutch application to work with that tranny as well.
-
Is this a symptom or the problem..........have they been separated?
If not, check the ground between the negative battery terminal and the body. (it's right there next to the battery)
Most likely an alternator but you might want to see if a lifted ground is causing your symptoms or whether it has caused the alternator to charge it's little heart out and killed itself.

This stuff is also available at harbor freight.
One early trade name was Alladin Rod and I've used this to repair anything from a beer can to aluminum boat props.

Then you've got that pesky egr valve.
-
Marine manifolds are almost always watercooled, is there evidence of an inlet/outlet for water?
Water inlet is those two hose barbs on the ends while water outlet is the exhaust outlet itself.
-
L24e should be the same sump.
Just make sure your turbo has the separate elbow from the wastegate housing (280zx turbo style) so you can fabricate a downpipe that will clear the steering shaft.
-
If the car has ever been jumped with the battery backwards, your injector drivers will be fused to ground which leaves the injectors on all the time.
Shaft speed at 8psi

A piezo pickup from radio shack should be able to give you a good scope trace from which you can determine shaft speed.
