  7. quote: Originally posted by Oltmann: The coefficient of drag is 0.31 or 0.32, that is pretty average for modern cars. Great compared to a first-gen. It's also got alot more crash protection Good luck. 0.31 or 0.32 Thats pretty good. . Hmmmmm (me thinking) Time to lube the gears as they are really moving (and whizing now) . Thanks Oltmann. Stan
  8. I know the 240-300 aerodynamics are not good but how is the 2nd gen 300 aerodynamics? I have a few funds for my next project and I am leaning to the 300zx. I know it will be a nightmare but I am willing to try it. heck I've put V8's in a 240,260,vega,pinto And a ford courier p/u (that was the hardest swap) Any Ideas guys???? Stan
  9. I believe NOSZCAR runs an open diff. and it seems he runs just fine. check here. http://scarp.homepage.com/noszcar/noszcar.html I have run an open in the past as well as a Quafie (sp) and I liked the Quafie but lived with the open just fine. I'd love to have one in like a 32 Ford (elongated frame no doubt!), the headers would be really sick looking.. six into 1's on each side.. Lone He he It's just a small block chevy with 4 more cyl's. and I have test fitted in a Z (by the numbers) and it will fit. And it's lighter than a SB chevy . . . . but how much does it cost?????

  14. Am I seeing things or are those C-clips holding the U-joints in the axle's ? Thought I would just go ahead and get the strongest U's and replace them while I have everything tore down. And what are the strongest U's to get? I have always used Spicer (in driveshafts) but seems after reading some posts they may not be the ticket for the axels.

  23. Jason gave me a video And I pulled some clips off of it.. I hope this works http://scarp.homepage.com/noszcar/noszcar.html [This message has been edited by scarp (edited September 10, 2000).]
  24. one more ? will the spindle pins rotate at all? and yes I have removed the nut and bolt in the center. if they do rotate that would make things better as I soak them I could try to rotate them from time to time as the panther piss soaks in...
  25. dang thats not good news I'll guess I'll just put alot of panther piss on them every day and use some light heating with the torch till they give. I will most likely order new pins from motorsports as these are allready somewhat dinged from the hammer. I just hope I can get the old ones out without messing up something else... THANX for the Help Stan ">
