Wats!! They fit absolutly none of your criteria, but they look awesome and are one of the best wheels for a S30, IMHO Im also a fan of hte Centerline Big Sur's and Panasports 3pc wheels. But your on the right track with 17's you will have a very good tire selection. Ii may be selling my wheels just for that reason.

They are 35mm I believe. I use a shalacking (sp?) Compound when I put freeze plugs in. Sand the block to the clean the rust and stuff off, clean it with acetone, coat both the block and plug with shalack and let it dry then hammer the new plug in. Its kinda like contact cement and does a good job of sealign the hole well. Ive been running 15-20 on my l28 for almost 3 years now and never blown a freeze plug I dont think that has anythign to do with it, or at least it shouldnt. The last motor i took apart with blown plugs had a blown headgasket and warped head from over heating

The stock t3 is restriction in the system, if you were to go this route i think you might have issue with this as you start getting into the upper rpms.

I know Dinan makes some breautiful carbon fiber cold air intakes for BMW's maybe check them out see if you can tell how they are made. Here at NCSU our formula car uses a carbon fiber intake manifold, it doesnt look good though looks jsut liek a wetlayup over some type of male mold, ill have to ask how they made it.

Anyway as far as helmets go I would definitly not cut yourself short, a nice helmet thats comfortable and has a large viewing area will defiinitly help you be more comfortable and less stressed while welding. And we all know how important our eyes are. good to see youve been liking your TIG! I just got one as well and have been practicing a good bit.. all i can say is tig is awesome it sure takes forever to weld anything but its so much cleaner nad more precise then migin'

I had a Hobart autodarking helmet with all the adjustments and what not. It quite working after about a month. It would be dark in some spots and light in the others. Same exact thing happened to a friend of mine on his. My buddy has a nice miller helmet which Ive used a couple times and really liked. He hasnt had any issues. Nice large viewing area and lots of adjustments. Ill prolly be picking one up soon.

I run my lines like Tim, There is a thread here about why you shouldnt run the returnless style. I like it its very clean but it doesnt seem to work well for some reason, lemme see if i can find it. Anyway here is how i ran mine, Its tight but it works great.. Its a Pallnet rail BTW.
