  1. THe z32 is BEAUTIFUL, but the s30... I would like to see some box flares on a s30, i think it could be made to look pretty cool
  2. I think they look like something that should be in a comic book
  3. w00t looking good gabe! You car will surely be in the 12's now, cant wait to see it at SEZ!
  4. lol matt your a funny kid, I see you enjoyed the hoke family lunch lol. Yea I am a ME, olie is that what you are studyin?
  5. I just call them for anything. Takes about 3 mintues, its not like motorsport auto where you get put on hold for 15 mintues and then you get to talk to a clueless person.
  6. Haha I dunno about hte best looking car on hybrid, that may be going too far, but Thanks for the compliments! 20 is close enough l28et lol, but im still 19.
  7. Lemme guess, cbr600 mirrors.
  8. I think runnign a seperate pipe is a little extreme although it would be pretty cool. THe wg pipe is only dumping exhaust when at full boost obviously so the exhaust smell isnt that bad, I havent noticed it to much. The noise is what gets ya, Ive enjoyed having mine open for a while but Im about so plumb it back in
  9. haha LS1 240z. I had a HARD time deciding waht I wanted to do. ZG's werent top on my list for favorite flares. But now that it done stepping back and looking at it I dont regret it at all. I just love the LIP Zg's are also a great flair for somebody wanting more tire without having to repaint. Granted I could have stuck these width tires under hte stock fender but thats beside the point
  10. Hehe I guess I spurred lots of talk here with my inccorect answer, sorry guys. I will chime in with my expirience, Im running a 38mm on a l28 running 15 psi on a 60-1 turbo and I have SOLID boost controll. Ive taken her to 20psi and its still rock solid. I think a 38mm will be plenty for 350-400 hp on a l28. I am runnign a open dump pipie on my 38 mm so there is no restriction whatsoever and Im running a profecb with it.
  11. Yea, You can really see how low they are in that picture. Rears dont look like there is much travel at all.
  12. Best thing to do would be to glue/fiberglass them to the to body to smoooth them out. I actually am planning on doing this when I repaint the car, but I wanted wider wheels now and it will be a while before I repaint. I am really stoked with the way it turned out so who knows I might leave them be.
  13. Thanks for the pictures.. this should be a good thread when its done with. YOu did cut away a good amount of meat, Ill have to do the spring thing and see what im looking at. I will say I like the way the inner fender worked out, definitly a good way of doing it. At any rate for those of you interested in ZG install kits I will have a few ready to ship out monday, pm me if you are interested.
  14. Yup looks like about an inch and this is a hawt pic: btw john it was your car that made me decide to put on some clear headlight covers.
  15. Keep in mind the more boost you run the smaller a wastegate you need. And yes 38mm is plenty big.
  16. Well john even still I went out and measured my car, and 6" would make the car into a off road machine. In fact 6" up in the front is to the top of the fender. I would believe 4 but thats about it. I cut mine up rougly 2.5-3". If you mounted them 3" higher then mine... more power to ya Zowner - They are Classic Datsun flares. Those guys are great to work with, I wouldnt order from anybody else.
  17. I find the 6" kinda hard to believe? If you look at this picture of amir's car they looks to be lower then mine do. You got any pictures of the install?
  18. Yea I was concerned about this as well. I havent had any issues yet. I am runnign 245's but they are prolly jsut as far out as those guys were runnign with my offset. Im going to test it pretty hard and see what happens, but all seems good now. I am runnig 275 springs in the rear and 250s in the front. THe wheel to fender gap is about 2.5 inches in the rear, I didnt measure the front. I have cut out as much metal as possible for hte location of the zg's. If you raised the ZG up you will end up with hella gap between the tire and flares. And if you lower it more to close the gap then your at the same position.... My car wouldnt be very streetable anymore if i lowered it farther, subframe connectors are about 3" off the ground in the front Im guessing. If you guys and interested in having me throw together a mounting package with precut welting, SS bolts, inserts and what not I can. I think the total cost would be around 55 bucks. Pm me if your'e interested
  19. Ill have to find the parts numers off the receipt. Its a generic rubber welting, if you call them thats prolly all you need to tell them. Total cost for 2 rolls was 22 bucks.
  20. Yeah I have a couple stock mounts Im going to be trying some different styles with. I like clitons method because it works great and is easy to make and R&R, I actually havent heard the bolt yet or see any evidence of it hitting with a NEW mount. But on a side note I just broke my tranny mount lol. Thanks again for the compliments guys
  21. Matt we need ot get everything mounted and then measure up for some wheels. I wouldnt buy anything yet. Nothing looks worse then a improperly sized wheel IMO.
