  1. i cdident have a switched power going to the ecu so i fixed that and then hooked up the wiring and i have a switching at the coil but no spark coming out when i look into the coil where the wire goes i see a litttle bit of oil so i think the coil is bad the little modual that sits next to the coil does any one know what that is or what it does??? thanks

Hi guys, i'm putting in a 1983 280zx turbo engine and trans into my 1978 280z. i have everything hooked up except the coil ignition harness. it's the one that goes up into the dash on the 280zxt. could someone tell me where to connect each wire? here is a picture of the harness i'm talking about. i need to know where to connect each wire in the picture. by the way this is the newer version of the harness and coil system.

  6. what would happen if you just switched the metal brake lines going into the master cylinder. put the front in the rear and rear in the front. if you have a really strong front and not much rear woulden't this fix the problem.
  7. so what is everyone refering to when they say things like "i would never use spacers" why not? what's so bad about them. bartman i read the link you posted and it says spacers don't put any stress on your hub, bearings, bushings or wheel studs. but if you use just slip on spacers it does make more strees on ONLY your wheel studs and NOTHING else. so now i'm asking why do people hate using wheel spacers?
  8. ok this topic is one that i've never understood, and i've been waiting for a chance to ask this. lets say his rim is 7 inches wide. the offset is 42. so in order to mount the rim he uses a spacer. the rim is now lets say a zero offset including the spacer. my queston: what is the difference in the amount of stress on the hub if you put a rim that has a zero offset on the car, vs. the rim with a spacer that is now a zero offset? both rims are zero offset NOW. so why does one put more stress on the hub than the other? the rims are both let's say 1 inch away from the inside of the fender. it's not like one rim is sticking out more than the other. i'm trying to prove this argument wrong, or be proven wrong and learn something.
  9. so did you have to modify the brackets, or were they direct bolt on? which bracket were you using the 44155-N3202 or the 44155-04S10?

  12. wait why do you need to know if the front wheels are spinning? whether they are or not you cant do anything to make them stop. can you?
  13. if you want your car to run colder you can do two things. take the thermostate out. or drill holes in it untill you achive the temperature you want.
  14. i have always thought about this. when your driving a right hand drive car. if you want to put it in first gear do you still move the shifter to the left and up? or is everything opposite.
