I think thats what happen with the guys brake I posted above (#1). You noticed the disk is bolted in front of the hat, maybe an offset issue. There is got to be a wilwood brake kit among all those kits in their catalog that fits our s30 configuration.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the replies. The reason why I'am asking is because there is a chance for me to pick up a complete wilwood kit for an early cheverolet application for a very good price. The owner no longer can afford to complete his project so he is selling of parts. There is everything in the kit; Hubs, hats, disks, calipers and all the nuts, bolts and bearings. Its really a good deal. So, are the early chev spindles same as ours?
Thanks again,
-
Nobody knows anything? I want to get a Wilwood brake kit but they do not have a listing for our cars. Are the early (68-73) cheverolet, Ford or Mopar spindles the same has our cars?
Thanks,

i was wondering if anyone has any sources for flares.
i currently have zg flares but they wont work with the wheel combo i want.
i also have the 'mud flap' flares but i need a passenger side rear flare.
here is a pic of my install. the wheel tucks right under when the suspension is lowered.
i have tried calling msa and like posted before (when i searched) they told me that all they have are the zg flares.
i know john washington sells flares but not what im looking for.
if anyone has flares or know of any for sale please let me know.
here is a pic of the rear. i know its not my car but im not at my comp and dont have access to my pics.
thanks!
Hi v8dats,

Do you remember what you were thinking at that moment? You looked very pensive.

Man, is that beautifull. Any more pictures of that car? I search vildinimotorsport but could not find any.

Very nice, It looks better in white. Did you use wheel spacers with those rims? What size tires are those? They fit nicely with the zg flairs.

Hi Guys,
Sorry for bringing an old post but it relates to my question.
I have a chance to buy a set of Wilwood calipers at a good price, they have 1.12'' piston size for .81'' rotors. Would they be too small for the front on a mildlly built L28 street driven Z? or better for the rear? The M/C will be 15/16 or it can be the stock 260, I have both.
Thanks, Ari

Very nice! What are the offset #'s for the wheels? Can you snap a picture of the rear of the car but on the ashphalt, same angle as the one on sparky's post? You have PM.
Congrats on a beautifull car.

Hi,
I have the same problem as jmortensen, my front end sag when I put it on a lift. I like Mull's aproach on his video #13, it looks like it would be strong enough not to sag plus add a triagular bar joining the two towers to the firewall. I do not like the idea of having the floor rail protruding even a 1/4". That area should be flat. I see it as a safety issue in terms of reaching the brake and/or clutch pedal.

Hi Mike,
This is just an observation. The original part has a chrome moulding around the light, maybe if you install one it might fill the gap, if it can be removed from the original piece. Or, you can put a chrome palstic moulding around the opening. That moulding is used for the edges of the doors as protection from nicks when the doors hits another car door. Love the stance of your car, Mike.
Cheers,
Ari
