Hi Daw
I did not know that piston has a big dome. Well, it might not be such a cheap replacement after all, back to square one.
-
Guys, I appreciate this very much, Thank You. BlackBeaut, thanks for the link. The Corolla 3TC seems like a cheap alternative, I'll look into prices
Cheers, Ari

Thanks NZeder.

Daw, do you have more details about this alternative?

Congradulation, I see you have good taste in women.

Nice wheel NZeder ,my plans are for Watts also. From what I see in the pictures I think the front ones cleared the stock suspension because of the 16" dia wheel. I want 15" in that size but I think it might hit the perch. Do you think if your wheel was 15" would it hit the perch?

I think the corvair mods is too technical for me, although I do understand your explanation, Thanks. The chev v6 sounds easy, did those v6 came in a camaro? I remember them having v6's.

What is "offset bushing in the rods". How does it compare to the L6 rods configuration?

Hi
I hope I'am not highjacking this post but since it talks about caster/camber I figure I'll throw in my question.
Everybody knows about the rear wheel, how it looks off center within the wheelwell, I believe it's because of toe. Well, if I install adjustable bushings and "center" the wheel would the ride be better or worst than the original specs? Keep in mind my suspension is stock.

We should welcome them like most repliers do, answer their questions out of cortesy (sp?) and than explain them the rules of "the house".

I think it is MM selling them.

Hey guys
Sorry for bringing up an old post but I figured this one belongs to the same type of overseas's scam.
This guy is selling a V8Z on Ebay and got a message from overseas. I found his reply diplomatic and funny, I thought I'd share this.
Cheers, Ari
Q: Hello Dear Sir. My father the ex King of Mambutu has come down with a terrible disease that can only be helped by the charity of others. He must have the auto you advertise. Our agent will pick this said vehicle up with cashieres check. Please inform of price. We already have come to find out that the car is a piece of rusted out junk with the worst example of the wrong engine in it. My father wants to roast marshmallows on it after removing the fuel and using it as the centerpiece for our campfire. Please inform. BTW what have you done to a perfectly good car other then ruining it? That's in the form of a question. Please answer the same way. Thank You.

A: What an amazing coincidence, as my mother was once the ex King's third concubine! Unfortunately, she met her end after refusing to honor his wishes involving a mule and several poolboys, but that is a story for another day. With regards to the vehicle, I would be happy to trade it to our mutual father for one of the family jewels, and seven coconut-bearing african swallows. I also have a numbers-matching 1969 Camaro, which I have converted to run on vegetable oil, and an original Shelby cobra, which now runs on electric motors. Both may burn well, for marshmallow roasting, or for cooking beer-can chicken, an american delicacy. Do you have another offer for me?

I posted the link to your head on Zcar.com. Good luck

Hi
Would mechanical or electrical guage work on my early 260Z? I'am refering to a water temp and oil pressure guages. Also can can I connect them to the original sending units on the car?
Thanks, Ari
-
Hi Austin
I first want to say that you car and Jason Parruta's http://www.geocities.com/jasonparuta/ are an inspiration to my early 260z build, your car is awsome. I have a question regarding the frame rail connectors. I see they are not flush with the floor, would that height be in the way when you are accelarating or braking?

Hi guys
I just bought a set of used sway bars that are a little rusty. My question is, when I wire brush them there is some dimples on the surface, will powdercoat fill up those tiny craters?
Thanks, Ari
