Hi Guys,
Thanks for clearing this up.

I thought that the "quick steering knuckles" were nothing more tham 510 stock knuckles. Am I mistaken?
Can anybody confirm this?

Pin height is 35.37, I bought a set. It should give you 0 deck height with stock L28 crank with 240Z con/rods.

I use this formula to calculate any coil springs.
Spring Rate= G x d to the 4th power / 8 x N x D to the 3rd power
G = torsional modules for steel
d= wire diameter in inches
N= active number of coils
D=coil diameter in inches
8= consant for all springs
So, if you take a spring with 10 coils you get,
11.250.000 x .62 x .62 x .62 x .62 = 1.662.337
8 x 10 x 5.0 x 5.0 x 5.0 =10.000
1.662.337 / 10.000 = 166lbs-in
Take the same formula and remove one coil and you get
11.250.000 x .62 x .62 x .62 x.62=1.662.337
8 x 9 x 5.0 .5.0 x 5.0 =9000
1.662.337 / 9000 = 187 lbs-in

Hi,
I went down that road before when I was searching for piston until I bought some custom made forge pistons.
Here i a good link I was following during my quest.

Can you please take a pic of the rest of the head gasket from the 1st pic, I'm curious about the water gallery holes on the manifold side of the head. Oh and what gasket it is?

Thats the picture that zcarmark send me when we were negotiating the sale. I bought only the pistons, sorry.

I have always been intrigued by the Arizona Z car pistons. What's the compression height? How light is it?
The compression height is a hair over 34mm and I think the weight is about 334 grams plus the pins.

Nice Hoshinos G5's. Hoover, where did you get those?

Hi Pete,
Thanks for looking into it. The posting rule box still says "You may not post attachments". I tried it and there is no attachment button.
Ari,

Hi
I would like to attach a pic with my message in the L6 forum but in the posting rule box it says I can not do it. I can do it in all other forums except the 6 cylinder z forums.

http://216.178.81.108/forums/images/smilies/ani/doh.gif[/img'] I kept thinking, "Stupid people, why don't they just post the link to the actual joke and not links to other links."
HaHa, that's what I tought too.

Hi,
How can I access the classifieds?
Ari

Well.....it's all well and good if everyone actually reads and abides by the rules, but as you know we have a whole set of rules and guidelines and we still have to moderate.....lots of folks either don't read the rules, or don't bother with them......
Yeah, I know what you mean, I myself forget to read the guideline too.
Thanks for the chat.

Hi Tim,
HybridZ does not have to get involved. You can stipulate this rule and let the feedback work by itself, like you said " Caveat Emptor. It is up to the buyer to decide whether or not the seller is to be trusted" If a transaction went smooth you get a positive feedback and if it went bad you get a negative feedback. From what I read even Ebay does liitle to solve issues when a transaction go wrong. Byers and sellers use different means to protect themselves anyways. Most uses credit cards because you can reverse a payment and other, like myself, uses Money Order since you can also reverse a payment if something goes wrong. There seems to be always problems with Paypal and I am sure most transaction done through HybridZ will be done with Money Order.
Ari,

Hi Dan,
May I suggest a feedback system for people and members who buy and sell through HybridZ. I just bought a set of Arizonaz pistons from zcarmark, a member here. He seems legit and answered all my emails, but I think If somebody would claim, through a feedback, that the buyer/seller is reliable it would inspire more confidence in the seller/buyer, just a suggestion.
Thank You for maintaining this site.

competition might wake a few up ....anyone know an alternate[/u'] source for frront disc spacers for the Toyota 4x4 brake conversion since my emails are never answered going north. here is a thread and source on the 2.170 280 Z adustable coilover sleeve for us real do it yourself members
The same guy that sell those coilovers also sell spacers in many thiknesses. He is often on Ebay, very helpful guy too. Competition is good for consumers.

Bloody Canadians and their tortured English If I understand the question' date=' you can answer it by pulling the axles out to their full length and comparing that with the gap you are talking about.
My guess answer is - no problems.

Thanks for the reply, mate.

Hi,
By installing the Z31 front hubs the track increases buy .75" on each side. Adjustable rear control arm from MML and ArizonaZ can also change the track on the rear. Would the rear half shafts be able to expand let say .75" on each side or you would need a spacer between the axel flange and stub flange? It seems a small increase in track is beneficial in all aspects, wheel choices, handling characteristics and esthetics (re; ZG flairs).

Hi
Your sure about this mount being used in the front? The bumper shock in the picture are for the rear. It would be difficult to bolt these in the front. I'am just making a point.
