Ross, I have a all aluminum 408 SBC for sale in the buy/sell/trade forum that would give you what you're looking for if you used a milder cam and a Holley Stealth EFI intake. Plus you'll lose 100#'s for the front of your Z! Mark

Question: Reguarding the S & S long tube headers, why doesn't someone just cut the primary tubes so they don't hang so low? You could also straighten the collector angle if needed. Mark

Actually thats not the latest issue since I just got my March issue yesterday, go figure? Nice to see them feature the LS6 powered Ultima GT. I really look forward to my issue of car craft, but I wish they would more readly embrace American iron in other than old muslecars. Cars like ours are the answer to the current import plague. ps. I don't see how a Tremec TKO II or TKO is a better deal at TWO GRAND + ? Did you check the pricing on the G-Force site? Not to mention that they shift like S*%#. A T5 shifts like silk in comparison! Mark

Don, I don't know if silicone boy's Jr Vic with FI would flow better than the Holley Stealth. Holley sells a single plane intake with FI called the Commander 950 and tested the Stealth againest it and the Stealth made considerably more power than the 950. So who knows? I can tell you that unlike a carb setup, bigger is better with a FI system when it come to air flow. Sounds like we need Grumpy to chime in. Mark
