  1. then the guy rolls up in a 280zxt and blows that slow ass s30... sorry for the language
  2. im just gonna say that rear window defrosters and power windows ROCK !!!!!! because some people actually DD their car... and about the looks of the s130... the car was headed into the 80's... cars that entered that decade were given a box shape that was popular and any way we are talking about two completely different cars where the only thing shared between them was the engine, so in that logic i have the next comparison.... oh forgot one thing, TOP END ROCKS!!!! GET SOME S30 OWNERS!!!! lol jk
  3. its polyurethane i believe, i have had several times where i have hit things/bottomed out so im glad i got urethane instead of fiberglass both have advantages, both depend on how you drive, where you drive, how much you drive pis of a polyurethane airdam on a s30, gotta believe the s130 airdam is worse because its square shape
  4. my zx feels just as stable at 100 as it does at 50 or less (of course it doesn't feel as safe) i do have the xenon air dam but from the pictures i have seen of them flopping in the wind idk it it really makes a difference i will say that when me and my friend (who has a s30) parks next to each other at school you really do realize that the 280zx may be boxier even UgLiEr... but it does seem alot lower and more aerodynamic
  5. as far as i can see its the worlds fastest 240z and its basically a street car... just wondering if there is some crazy, V8, tube chassis, fiberglass monster out there cause i seem to remember a v8 s30 from Europe but i cant find anything on it ty for any info you have
  6. i believe that's because MSA doesn't take the time to make the header pipes equal length
  7. wow those 2+2's are actually... sexy especially the white one, now i just need mud flaps and some euro/jdm bumpers, a one inch drop and that will be my car!!!! plus t-tops.. eww
  8. im in valdosta but i only have some experience with ZX's see all you GA guys at DNI i hope
  9. Good luck with the build, i have always wanted to see a s30 drift car and if i ever come upon some real money im going to try to do a replica of that 280zx 2+2 drift car on youtube, other wise its sticking to DD duties again good look i hope you the best
  10. WTF lol... i want some do you have any pics of them off of the car by chance?
  11. i personally had several problems with my MSA header for my 280zx... i havent heard much about the monza (is that the pacesetter header?)
  12. did you have to cut the bumpers for them to sit that far back? oh and does the hood still open? btw beautiful cars, its cool to finally get to see who owns that yellow euro Z on youtube, didnt know you were here a hbz the hole time
  13. its the same think the really hot art teacher uses to cut clay.... my only issue is the plastic trim around the window... i could see those costing more than the window if damaged
  14. im going to have to do mine soon... i just don't want to lol
  15. well i think they need to call the headers "almost bolt on"
  16. the cat back system only goes so far back before it hits the rear fiasca (on my model with the right side exit exhaust) and for other models the exhaust tip would be sticking out 2 1/2 inches, talk about not cool here's a link to the problems i had http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=147387 i can't say i won't buy from MSA again because besides black dragon and Nissan itself, they are all there is...
  17. i ran mine 40 miles to the muff shop open header, i don't think a few mins to check for leaks would hurt just don't go rev happy
  18. it would have cost more to ship it out and back than to just take it to the exhaust shop and because i wasn't going to wait 2-3 weeks for them to receive the headers back then them send some out (and from what i have heard and seen not many people have received a "bolt on kit" from msa)
  19. yeah somebody really needs to take them to court about this, my "bolt on" headers was 2 1/2 inches off from actually bolting on to my cat, had to go to a muff shop and pay 50 to get it connected i asked them specificly 4-5 times is this a 100% bolt on kit they said yeah i get it on and call them about the issue and they say they havent had a problem before and the kick was if i modified the header or y pipe at all no refund at least they are consistent with their inconstancy
  20. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/PEC05/15-8081 those are studs which imho seem better than bolts plus they look pretty the bolts/studs are 8mm x 1.25 thread if you go to a hardware store the four intake bolts are 10mm x 1.25 thread
  21. you must have wired it wrong if every time you turn the car off it turns off... im guessing you switched the constant power with the ignition power lines
  22. i believe the lower 7 shared between the intake and exhaust are all 12mm and the top 4 on the intake are 16 or 14mm and i hope that 24mm was a typo because daym that's big!!!!
  23. i noticed little pieces of greasy clear plastic on the floor and later that day my taillights wouldn't go out... after i blew several fuses and disconnected my battery 3-4 times in panic that i had a major short some where i put 2 and 2 together and started looking around under the dash went ahead and replaced all 3 bump stop things (also fixed cruise control that day lol)
  24. if your going to replace the gasket your going to have to remove both the intake and exhaust because they share a single gasket also if the manifolds are froze to the head just tap (whack!!) it with a mallet and if your built even a little bigger than David Spade you should be able to lift it off but it helps to have some one on the passenger side to guide the fuel and coolant lines also multiple 3/8 extensions and a 12mm ratchet wrench are a must
