  1. so out off all the crazy questions that get answer in this forum you guys mean to tell me that nobody knows where to send my nut's and bolt's to get replated cleaned up? nothing Please somebody give me some direction to look maybe even replacing them! I wanna have this thing on the road for the show in April.
  2. this make my eye's fill with tears of joy!!! Man I want to get this far with my Z but money and time are a big issue. please keep us posted with more pics of this beauty. Ronnie
  3. Dude I have the Autopal headlights and an H.I.D kit and it sucks man people would high beam me left and and right!! to much light stray's out because they don't have a projected beam. stick with the cheap ebay head light and your H.ID kit you will be better off.
  4. I bought the wheels directly from the Boyd Wheel factory in Santa Ana California. just give them a call and they can get you setup with wheels for you car. I don't have the info anymore because I bought these wheels like 5 or six years back.
  5. I had them made a couple years back. they cost me about $1600.00 shipped to my door. they don't wobble you don't need spacers and they look really nice on the car. You can have them made in any offset or size you like for your car.
  6. where can I find the harness bar? haven't really looked for one but would love to have the right stuff for the install.
  7. here are the pics of some of the new parts and some more of the powder coated parts. my color scheme for the suspensions and most of the bottom of the car will be black, red and yellow. any of the AZC plain aluminum parts are getting anodized black this week. let me know what you guys think!!! Ronnie Oh the wheels are custom by Boyd Coddington. kinda dusty cause they have not seen the light of day for almost 1 year. I have a couple more parts that I have to get out of storage but I will post pics of the black ano parts when I get them back next week.
  8. Soooo!! I finally got everything powder coated all I need now is to have some bolts cleaned up before i start my assembly. can any one point me in the right direction? I would love to make it to the show this year!!!! I am lazy and unmotivated but everything looks so good cleaned up and I know that when I start to put it back together it is going to be awesome. Will post pics of all the new stuff in a couple mins.
  9. dude that thing is awesome!!! those carbs scare the hell out of me everytime i see them and consider taking them apart!!! but I would do it for the fun of it if they were mine.
  10. all i use on my dirty steering wheel is the Mr Clean Magic eraser!! it is freaking awesome man. it will pull all of the gum off of a seat like nothing else. and it won't leave your seat smelling like any funky cleaner. Ronnie
  11. man i just went through this a couple weeks ago. it took a couple good wacks wth a hammer and i ended up having to replace the pins and everything! even ended up replacing the bushings with some delrin bushings that my buddy made for me.
  12. If i were in your shoes I would go wiht the Timesert for any sripped threads! I use this thing all the time at work to fix my customers mistakes. it is a great permanent repair. never heard of that liquid thread repair but I be it won't hld up to heat or fluids for very long. Ronnie
  13. well its has been a couple of months but my collection of parts is bigger and now I have some more time to get my Z on the road again!! I got all of the suspension back from the powder coater and it looks brand new! I also decided to replace the poly bushings with new poly bushings since I had it all apart anyway, I got some parts from AZC and all I have to say is WOW!! it all looks so damn good in the box but it will look even better under my car. I should be getting back to work this week so I will post more pic's later this week. Ronnie
  14. yeah be careful not to get the wrong size booster, its a pain in the a$$ when you finally get it to you door and you find out it's the 8 1/2 not the 7'' damn me and my quick purchases!!!
  15. dude you z looks heart broken in that box.....lol almost like it knows it's getting torn apart.
  16. no joke guys!! I have done everything to this car but that pin and link removal took longer to remove than all of the suspension components put together. those bushings were rusted solid into the a-arm, thank to my job for having a 10 ton press around to make things a little smoother for me. I will have to post more pics when I get everything reinstalled on the car. trying to get it done by the Z show this month.
  17. job is done!! got the new spindle's,pin's and the polyurethane bushings. the parts are getting dropped off at the powder coater in the morning. thank's guys. Ronnie
  18. thanks guys!! found all the parts, poly bushings and the pin to get the job done.
  19. not the stub axle, the actual nut that is on the end of the a-arm. it has the rubber washers behind the nuts on each side, and the nuts are 17mm on each side.
  20. what is the bolt called that hold the hub to the a-arm? where can i order a set from, and how do I remove this part without killing myself? thanks!
  21. anybody in here have a stock fuel rail they wanna part with or know where I can get one?? I need one pretty bad, my fuel line rig is looking pretty lame next to my carbs. Ronnie
