  3. Need a gas tank from a 1971 Datsun 240z. My current tank has a crack which leaks gas all over my garage floor.
  4. Looking for a decent condition used plastic vapor expansion tank from a Datsun 240z manufactured in April 1971. This is a very difficult part to locate since it is no longer made by Nissan.

  7. Looking to buy a good pair of Toyota 4x4 four piston calipers for my 1971 Datsun 240z. I have an RB 25 DET engine and I need an inexpensive brake upgrade to go with my slotted rotors. If you have a some good pads to go along with the calipers, I will gladly buy them too.

  10. My Z31 diff makes so much chatter too. I might be better off with the OS Giken or Quaife in an open diff. Thanks for the feedback.
  11. Has anybody heard of Whitehead Performance in Canada? I was thinking about purchasing a Longnose R200 CLSD Differential with 4:11 or 3:90 gear ratios. These diffs would be perfect for my stock RB 25DET swap. They import these diffs directly from Japan and sell them for $1200 to $1500 depending on gear ratio. They also seem to check the diffs for any damage before selling to any customers. I just wanted to know if anyone has bought a diff from them in the past.

  18. I have a R200 open diff from a 1983 Datsun 280zx with 3:90 gear ratio. Diff has been sitting in my garage for a while but it is in great condition. I live in Florida, so if your interested I could ship to Northern California.

  20. Can anyone offer any suggestions on tunning my triple weber carbs on my L-28 1971 Datsun 240z engine. Nobody in south florida seems to know how to tune these carbs. I purchased 45 DCOE Triple Weber Carbs from MSA that I figured would be the correct set up for my Z. Here the engine set up I currently have: 45 DCOE Triple Weber Carbs from MSA Stage two performance cam package from MSA Electric water pump from MSA Electric gas pump from MSA Six in one headers from MSA Two and a half inch turbo exhaust from MSA Performance coil from MSA Fuel regulator N42 head Iriridium
  21. Hello everyone I'm pretty new to the hybrid z forum. I just completed a 95 Maxima alternator swap to my Datsun 240Z. However, I blown two alternators and one battery. I'm only getting 11.5 volts at idle while the electric fan, electric water pump and electric fuel pump are running. I can't seem to figure out the wiring sense their is no direct application. The pulley and belt seem to be tight and mechanically working. The external regulator is unhooked. Can anyone please give me some advice on how to wire the Maxima alternator correctly to my 240Z?
