    I've got a header wrapped and ported turbo manifold for $100 plus shipping. It worked great when I had it on my P90a setup. Full boost was down to about 2200 rpms, along with a ported downpipe and turbine housing.

    looks awesome man! i was going to attempt this project a while back and scrapped the idea. FWIW, in case anyone else tries to do it. The S13/S14 front struts will not fit in the 280zx strut tower. The S13 top strut mount is offset in ward, while the 280zx strut mount is centered. The offset makes the strut/spring assembly rub and bind against the inside of the strut tower, so you can only use coil overs.

    I just did this on my turbo n42 build. Find a complete internally oiled cam setup, n47, p79, p90 non hydraulic. Take the cam towers, and cam, associated rockers and lash pads, it will work just fine. Just MAKE SURE you use the proper cam towers that came with the internally oiled cam.     i have an intake manifold that came off of a running N47 engine - $20 + shipping, complete with aar, tb, etc., and i also have an airflow meter for a 280zx N/A if thats what you need?     yea that's definitely the better way to do it. it also gives you access to other parts you don't need at the time, but may need later when doing component tests to diagnose a problem

    just a heads up, be prepared to pay $100+ for that turbo dizzy shaft. If you can get it under $100 you got a steal, turbo oil pump used will go about double what you're wanting to pay. just giving you a heads up of what to expect to pay.
