Im no expert but i would guess anything no matter how clean it is ..if its got a salvage title it aint worth close to what a clean non salvage z would go for.......i bought a 260z with a clean title ...and no rust at all ..it was a california car ....all original in very good condition..with 62000 miles ...well at least thats what the odometer reads lol.....and i feel i paid a little too much at 7000 canadian.....so a salvage title for the same as i bought a non salvage......i wouldnt pay what hes asking.

Dude these guys no more about what cars are worth then anybody you will ask on a forum.........http://www.hagerty.com/valuationtools...............type in what year the car is and they will give you 4 car conditions ...match up what condition with the car your looking at and they will tell you what your car is worth....nobody knows better then a company that insures thousands of collector cars!!!!!......now that being said ....a salvage title does lower the value of a car....

  5. ^^^You da man......how long have you had the NRG quick release for ....i was gonna go works bell as i have been researching and some findings are coming up that all quick releases are just reversed engineered works bell releases and that they all will develop play in them after some use......play in a steeering wheel is something i would like to avoid !

  9. Its hard to find answers on this but i want wilwood brakes but i still want my parking brake to work.......datsun parts sells a rear kit that allows the stock emergency brake to work ....but you have to extend the emergency brake lines by 2 inches ....anybody know how this is accomplished?

Hey guys i have done lots of searching but cant find it......i have a nardi wheel and i purchased the regular boss hub to fit the wheel to my car........well now im looking for a slim hub(half the size)...and a works bell quick release......i just dont know what the part numbers are and who to order it from....i have found many places that sell these items but nothing that is specfic to my 74 datsun 260z.....please anybody with this info can you pass it along...thanks in advance.

Nobody races those around here ...so I kinda have to rely a bit in the forums for feedback and hopefully provide my own once I get her on the track ...still want to keep her as a daily driver as well ...anyways I guess the website saying the other kit is a bolt in ...it's not ?....the shocks I'm getting are konis as well ...so if I have to cut it up maybe I should open the option of weld ins again ....if I can't find a true bolt in might as well weld the plates in .
  13. Ok ya you have the biscuit type ...they make another camber kit 204 1003 ...it's 90 bucks more a set ...I'm wondering what sets the too sets apart.
  14. For the DP camber plates which one are you using ?....they show 2 on there site ..curious what sets them apart...
  15. Any noise from the dps in the rear? I think the dps for me are the way to go ...especially because I have read that these bolt in no problem where the gc you still need to grind the holes to get to fit right .

  17. So the gc units bolt up underneath the tower and weld ins are mounted half an inch above the tower ....what takes up the extra space between different mounting points ?

Gabe is great guy ...i ordered my coilovers from him ....im just trying to get an explanation to why ground control says weld ins are not a good engineering practice but yet other companies make weld ins?.....so which is the smart way to do camber plates ....so many varying opinions out there ...its hard to get a straight answer?....im probably gonna go weld in its just the bolt ons eliminate the factor of a poor weld job or mistake...as i wouldnt be the one welding it in ....
  19. ^^^^ that interesting ....I'm gonna take a closer look at the ground control units ...I did read that there's not much adjustable with the gc units ....is this the case ?

Ok so im in the market for some camber plates for my 74 260z....i like the techno toy tuning ones ....but stumbled across these ground control ones ...there almost double the price as T3s...but i read up on the silverminemotors website that weld in camber plates is a poor engineering pratice.....Anyone have any imput on this matter or is this just a way for ground control to sell there camber plates over anyone else....

Kinda off topic but kinda on lol....i ordered TTT full coilover conversion 2 and a half weeks ago so i will be checking for that as well but the question i have is how long did it take you guys to get your stuff from TTT....there website said 2 weeks sometimes less and here i am almost at the 3 week point and the Lady told me its not even close to being done?....when i told her the website says 2 weeks wait she told me the website lied ...lol......Seeing how this company doesnt have even one bad review that i can find im gonna trust that there just backed up and that there not foolin with me.
