Can it be ? Can we finally have rear wilwoods with an ebrake ? This should be a big deal then ......has anybody been able to do this yet ? I know arizona had a rear e brake caliper but I don't think it was very effective . Too bad I already purchased my rear wilwoods .

If your 260z is made late like month 10 or later you will have the trans tunnel hump ....any z car before 10/74 will not have to bash anything .

Thanks again man that's great info so at least I know that the sparcos will work ....and shifting it more to the center console doesn't seem like a big deal but will it throw you off meaning will you not have the steering wheel centered in front of you ?

Thanks dude i did see that ...i might go the sparco route .....my problem is all the after market car shops in town dont carry any seats in stock its all catalogue order...which is wild because i guess these shops are expecting people to shell out over 2 grand without people seating in them first lol ......but from the research ive gathered the widest up top i can go is about 21.5 inches or else it hits the window.....and like i said in the previous post lots of guys are getting bride gias and stradias in there early Zs...but no findings on later Zs for brides ...or recaros ....i guess maybe thats because none will fit except maybe the sparcos.....although the bride exas 3 is only 510mm at the ears i just cant get a ass seat measurment from anybody ....they provide the width of the seat but not the width of just where your arse goes.....any who since i dont have shops in my town that carry seats i have to go by measurements and compare them to my friends race seats that he has now lol.

Dude been searching forever on this plus i have been through all the threads your talking about ...and in all those threads that your saying are full of info there not. My question was does anybody have any info on fitting status seats ? only one mention of status seats on this site in a 4 post thread ....or i also mentioned brides seats ....the only place i have found talk on bride is in those threads for maybe a split second somebody mentioned the gias 2 in the early Zs.....thers also a build thread ben280 throws replica bride buckets in his 280z but no mention of which type of bride and are the replicas same size as the real thing......my car is a late year 260z so im looking for info on anybody that has installed these seats into a late year 260z or 280z.......again those threads you mention and all this wealth of knowledge about those seats on this site does not exsist.....but by all means if you do come across what im specifically looking for please post. Theres Tons of info on here about fitting used seats from another vehicule in the Z, but thats not what im after . I want to know what status ....bride ....or recaro seats(new.. not from a 1970s mercedes)fit in my Z .. and not replica ones the real deal......not much info on that anywhere my friend ( probably because no wants to spend 2 grand on seats lol ) but thanks for your help.

Thanks a lot guys for all the help i really appreciate it !! ....gonna check out those rock auto parts today ..... @rb26powered74zcar...dont know what piece i need as i had my brother in law look at my car and he said to get an ignition switch...since he has never steered me wrong in over 15 years i just started this thread to know where to get the best ignition switch........having the car garaged at a seperate place then my house allows me to only work on it on the weekends ......so that said tonight i will be taking out the old ignition and testing everything everybody has mentioned in this thread. Thanks again guys !

^^^ do you have a part number ? The part numbers from napa up top in this thread are not Availble at napa Canada .....at least that's what the trusty local napa employee told me.

No if there's a way to fix it easily I will try that ...I just had my brother in law look at it because I couldn't figure out what's wrong and he said it's the ignition switch he usually never steers me in the wrong direction ....but if I can take the old one apart and fix it I will try that and also if it might be something else I will check there too all the advise is appreciated and I will try ever option given to me if I can save money lol

Well my brother in law is a mechanic he's who diagnosed the problem ....what do you think it might be ?

When I turned the key there would be no power as if the switch use worn out ..it would start the car every like 10th attempt at starting and eventually just doesn't start at all now no matter how many times I try to start it

I don't need the whole unit but that's the only way I can find them being sold with the whole housing and everything . Pretty sure it's the switch you can wiggle the key a lot and when you turn the key you don't get any power at all maybe after 10 turns it starts once or gets power once then nothing another 10 turns you know what I mean ? Lol

Hey guys I've search far and beyond lol and cannot find any opinions on the availible replacement ignition switches....there's the z stores and datsun -parts for 230 and up or the one I'm looking for a review on is the black dragon ignition switch for 129.95 for my 1974 late year 260z .....any one try it ? Any feedback is great thanks in advance.

Im not sure i follow but the only thing that the sway bar and ttt lca have to do with eachother are the links .....so regardless the thickness of bar its just the links that get connected to the LCA.....

Yes Juan will get you the datsun parts brakes cheaper as he is the supplier for datsun parts......i would say just buy from arizona z car... he is the first that was selling that kit..... for me his customer service was great !...6 piston front 4 piston rear and the car will out stop most modern day vehicles .
