  1. hey bro what kind of body kit does your car have??

  2. rest of the info here http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/97165-almost-complete-280zx-turbo-w-pictures/
  3. Since a car can never be finished, this one is just almost done Have owned this car for over 8 years and still only has 92,xxx original miles! I have been on here for a long time but never really posted. Thought I would share the work before I post the car for sale. I will try to make this as informative as possible for those that will be going down this route I am running z31 front suspension with z32 calipers -z31 front spindles shocks rotors and custom lengthened lower arms Tokico shocks with ground control coilovers -tokico front z31 shocks with standard s130 rears with welded perches T3 front camber plates and front tension rods - cut the top with a 3"(i think) cup saw and fit pretty well Upgraded front sway bar and poly bushings stock motor with low miles Custom side mount sr hks intercooler with tial bov -Wanted to keep my a/c and everything so it was pretty hard to fit both pipes through to the front adjustable fpr msd fuel pump greddy pov running 9psi stock downpipe, stock cat with custom catback Wheels/tires rota 17x9 -13 fronts and 17x9.5 -19 rears 215/45/17 fronts and 235/45/17 rear<-- this was for my fronts that didn't fit so I used it in the rear - 17x9 -13 front wheel not fit this setup, i had to run i think 5mm to be able to clear the calipers -I did not want to run stretched tires but the z31 front setup made the offset much higher which i didn't account for before purchasing. Since my fronts were flush i had to run spacers in the rear to match the stance from this like 5 years ago to this in its current condition
  4. Nukabe is no longer in business and you would have to contact the new headquarters of CUSCO USA in CA. I am also a stance dealer and can order them if anyone is interested
  5. hey bluezx, any update on your progress? wanted to know if running the z31 setup you have changes the offset since you are running z31 hubs?
  6. if it makes anyone feel better, i think megan is made in taiwan and emusa is made in china
  7. i read through some pages but didnt have it, maybe i missed it wondering if the 17x9 or 17x9.5 wheel setup leaves room for a bbk upgrade in the front? this is for a 280zx, since many have 240z with upgraded brakes, not sure if there is a difference in clearance issues
  8. yea, i have personally looked into them and have call to find more info. Just like any front 280zx setup you have to cut and weld. like mentioned above, they are not the greatest of products but do get the job done if the job was to just lower the car on coilovers. Very popular for basic suspension upgrades since the price is affordable. i actually get them a little cheaper from a local shop if anyone wants a set of ksport or d2 racing since both are made from the same factory so both recently added it to their site. Custom order 10 business days from overseas to anywhere in the states
  9. looking for a good working complete distributor for my 83 280zxt, send me some picture and your price, need one asap as this might be the problem to getting my car up and running
  10. i do work wheels, pm me specs and details and i can get you a price. i can provide you with preference and other info so you know who your dealing with, im actually a retail shop and you can give me a call when you order
  11. i gotta give my guys a call to see if i can get these, maybe i can get a better deal for you guys since it seems like theres a good amount interested. unless all of you already ordered
  12. got any rear shots of that green car or in brown, either one?
  13. if you ever think you want more hp, i say do it right since your redoing your motor. i saw your engine setup and like everyone says, capable of alot more. you say never over 400hp. but thats what alot of others on here said too. espcially since it wont cost much more beucase people will buy your premade setup your piping seems pretty big though, so even if you did. probably only need to upgrade the core
  14. thanks for the replies guys, but thats not it either. guess not many saw it back than. this is like a year ago since ive been on
  15. i actually found that one looking for the other one. the one im talking about has a site full of 280zx and mostly watanabe panasport wheels
  16. there was a link a long long time ago that i cant seem to find. long shot but maybe someone has it on their computer had a bunch of fixed up 280zx in japan
  17. even if the bumper s flush with the fender well's you couldve pushed the metal bumper in too much leaving a gap between the metal bumper and the msa bumper. if that is the problem, than you just need to push the metal bumper back out a little but enough for the msa bumper to go back on.
  18. hmm. for you to mount the front bumper, you have to push the metal bumper support in. if you did that, than you pushed it in too much and the tip of the hood hits the metal bumper. i hope this is what your looking for
  19. hey, let me know prices on everything you have for sale. interested in some of that stuff message me on aim when your free or email me at superslows2k@yahoo.com thanks -van
  20. hey mike, wuts up. hook me up with the aftermarket stuff you have from that zxt. talk to me on aim next time you see me on. i mite actually want alot of it, what color interoir let me know thanks
  21. is that your fuel filter you relocated right next to your exhuast manifold?
  22. i know this wont help you much but it wasnt that hard to do it. i did it a while back but i forgot already. you can use it with the stock fuel rail. it took me like 15min to do all 6 and it wasnt hard. basically cutting some plstic off the top so it can fit and pull the rubber ring off the bottom or something close to that. hopefully someone else can chime in on that. so yes, you have to modify it a little to make them work, but you should be able to do it very easily
  23. so can a 200sx 4.11 r200 lsd fit into a 280zxt ? direct swap? thanks
  24. dumping to the atmosphere means that the air from the ext wastegate is directly releaseed into the air instead of a recirculating the "dump tube" that goes into the downpipe that goes out of the exhuast so it doesnt make a loud noise. just like how you could set an aftermarket bov to either dump into the atmosphere to make the whoosh sound compared to recirculating it by rerouting it back into the intake boot and you dont get the whoosh noise anywhere near as loud as you would if you would if you dumped it into the atmosphere
  25. i have one if you interested, let me know. i also have a bunch of other stuff in the for sale section
